Troubleshooting 4-Way Wiring on 2006 Mercury Monterey with No Power
Question:
2006 mercury monterey, I plugged in My harness, I already had existing relays and fuses in required locations, checked with a receptical tester, does not work. I tried using the supplied fuses and relays, still doesnt work.

I spoke to my contact at Curt and he told me that if you have all of the correct fuses and relays installed on your 2006 Mercury Monterey and the receptacle that the 4-way harness of the part # C56673 plugs into still doesn't have power you will want to trace that harness back to see if that harness is connected properly. If it is connected there is still something that's missing between the trailer wiring circuits in the fuse box and the trailer wiring.
If this is outside of your wheelhouse a local, reputable automotive repair should will be able to fix this issue for you.
