For your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 I recommend the Tekonsha Primus part # TK90160 as a fit for you.
This is a proportional brake controller and is designed to work with electric brakes only. This has an easy to read LED display and lets you adjust the brake aggressiveness with 3 boost levels. I recommend this controller over the Tekonsha Voyager, part # 39510 because it is easier to operate. The Voyager does not have an LED display that shows error codes when troubleshooting and is not as tolerant for mounting positions as the Primus is.
You may wish to consider the Tekonsha prodigy P2, part # 90885. This is our most popular controller because it is easy to install and use. It can be used for electric or electric-over-hydraulic brakes.
I also recommend the easy to install adapter that will let you simply plug in your brake controller to the vehicle. That part number is # 3016. One end simply plugs into the back of the brake controller and the other end plugs into the port located under the dash.
