High Capacity Trailer Tire Recommendation Size 205/75R14

Question:

i have a 1999 yamaha LS2000 boat that the previous owner changed the trailer tire from 14 to 15 inch. The original size is 205/75/14. I was thinking of putting the original back on since the tire rub on the fenders when hitting bumps. The boat weighs 2100lbs and trailer is around 900lbs. I do not see any tires with a load rating of 3000lbs. Or am I looking at it all wrong. What are your thoughts?

In the 205/75-14 tire size you are considering there is a Load Range D tire, part # AM10235 that has a capacity of 2,040 lbs at 65 psi. Since this capacity is per tire you would have more than enough capacity since you will be using two of these tires. Total tire capacity would be 4,080 lbs.

For a rim you would want the part # AM20352 as this is a 14 inch rim with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern.
