Specs:
Need to brighten up your hallway for those late-night bathroom breaks or snack times? Or perhaps you simply just want to upgrade the accent lighting near your furniture? This RV reading light has a cool white LED that is bright enough to light up your RV's walkway, bedroom, or other living space. And you can use the tilting, ratcheting shade to angle the light up and down and make sure it's secure in place, even over the roughest terrain.
The LED is more energy efficient, lasts longer, and burns brighter than lights with incandescent bulbs. You won't have to worry about dealing with bulbs that have brittle filaments. And because LEDs draw minimal power, the light won't drain your battery or overload your circuits.
Surface-Mount, Bolt-On Installation is Easy
This wall light is incredibly easy to install either as an upgrade or a replacement of your existing light. Using hardware (not included), bolt the light down onto an interior wall of your RV or camper. The light can be turned on and off with the built-in dial on the back of the shade. The 2-wire design hooks up to ground (black wire) and power (red wire).

Today we're going to be taking a look at part number ILL30CBB. This is the Optronics LED RV Bullet Light. It's going to feature a ratchet motion design, so the light is going to move into position and it's going to stay put even during travel over bumpy roads. It just rotates forward and backwards. I'm showing you the full extent of the rotation, it does not rotate side-to-side. It's going to feature a long-lasting LED. It's going to be a great replacement for incandescent lights.
The LED is going to optimize your light output, you don't have to worry about replacing any bulbs or brittle filament. The LED system is more efficient, so it's going to provide brighter light with using less power. The lens on the bullet light is lightly frosted. It's going to feature a black housing. Right here you're going to notice this is just our trim right. You can see how that moves.
The trim right is going to cover the mounting fasteners to provide a smooth, finished look. To snap them into place, you just line up the clips with the grooves, just like that, and then give it a small rotation and it's going to secure in place covering up those nine locations. You can see down here you're going to have three mount holes. It's also going to expose the two wires. You're going to have a red wire and a black wire. The red wire is going to be for power and your black wire is going to be for your ground.
Here at the back this back portion rotates, that's going to be your on and off function. It's got the little on and off indicator here on the top of the housing. That's how you control the operation of the light. It's going to contain one diode or one LED. The overall diameter width of the trim ring, measuring from edge to edge, is going to be 3-1/8". The overall height is going to measure about 3-1/2".
The overall length of the actual bullet portion of the light is going to be 3-1/2" inches. The diameter, this portion here, is going to be right at 2". Again I told you it's going to have three mount locations here on the bottom. The distance that we have between the two mounting holes, going center on center, is going to be 2". It's going to be the same between all three mount locations. So 2" center on center. This is going to have a power draw of 0.248 amps at 12.8 volts. It is a surface mount installation and it's going to feature a lifetime warranty on the LED. I want to go ahead and hook it up to our external power source, that way you can see what it looks like with power running to it. We'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights. That way you can see it in a low-light setting. Again the black wire is going to be the ground connection. The red wire is going to be for power. You can see there it sends out a nice consistent LED signal. The lens allows a lot of light to come through, it's going to distribute the light evenly. Then we've got the on and off function back here, all you got to do is rotate that back portion of the housing. It's got a really nice, quick response time. That's going to do it for today's review of part number ILL30CBB. This is the Optronics LED RV Bullet Light. .

Tilt this energy-efficient, LED wall light up and down to brighten up a dark hallway or add stylish, accented light around furniture. Light turns on and off with the built-in dial on the back of the shade.Seems like a well built light. Kind of confusing on the wiring, Red is set up as to look as its the ground (because of what looks to be a grounding tab on base), but really is the power wire and the White wire (that is going into the light itself) is the ground wire. I point this out, because this light will NOT find its own priority, it must be hooked up correctly... With that said, not sure how I feel about the Red power wire not being internally protected (and I will have to do more testing to make sure the "base" is not powered, that would mean a possible short if the base/stud screw is grounded). Also, we will see how the trim ring holds up, the tabs that hold it on are not the best. With the things I pointed out, I don't feel giving it more then a 3 would be appropriate.
Very Useful in my Trailer, and the light is bright.

Just a correction to my above review... Wire color mess up, I typed White, but should have said... Black wire that is going into the light itself is the ground wire.
