Trailer Wiring Recommendations for Ford Super Duty Truck Late Model
Question:
We have several late model Super Duties that didnt come w/ a frame mounted receptacle. I watched the video installation of part # 20119. It appears to be what we need. But we also need an adaptor that fits into that part #20119 and adapts to round, 7 pin trailer connector. Will this concoction work? Thanx,

If your Ford trucks have a the 7-way round receptacle wiring that the # 74682 is designed to fit already the # 74682 would work great for you. If you do not have that harness then this wouldn't be the correct harness to get.
If you don't have any trailer wiring you would need to start with a 4-way like part # 18252. To convert a 7-way you would only need part # 37185. If you plan to install a brake controller though you would need the part # ETBC7 instead of the # 37185.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
