I just purchased a 2015 cyclone 3800 and the dealer installed a goose neck for me. What am I going to need in the truck Im considering to purchase which is a 3500 2015 mega cab dually with 64 inch bed. Will there clearance or will I need something extra other than the ball in the bed

Your 2015 Cyclone 3800 travel trailer is designed for short bed trucks, so there should not be any issues.

You can still measure if you would like. In order to determine your cab clearance, measure under the truck bed the rear most edge of the C-channel frame cross member to the end of the bed. See page 2 number 1 of instructions link, length A figure A1. Next, inside the bed, measure the length of the bed from the rear edge to the front. View instruction link, length B figure A1. Subtract length A from length B and then subtract another 6-inches. This will provide you the amount of clearance you have between the 2-5/16 ball location and your cab.

Measure the distance from the center of the coupler to the farthest forward corner point of the trailer. Compare this distance to the measurement from the center of the ball to the cab. These measurements will allow you to see how much clearance you will have between the cab and the trailer while towing and turning, see instruction link, page 2 figure A2.

The B&W Gooseneck hitch part # BWGNRK1314, is a confirmed fit for your potential purchase of a 2015 Ram 3500 Dually without the factory tow prep rail package. This hitch has a gross towing weight of 30,000 pounds and vertical load limit of 7,500 pounds.

I added an installation video for you too.
