Air Lift Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for a 2000 GMC Sierra with 4 inch Drop

I have a 2000 gmc sle 1500 extended cab lowered about 4 inches, am planning on pulling a 3800 pound camping trailor , will this kit handle this load ? little fuzy on the 2000 pound number. Thx

Yes, the SlamAir Air Helper Springs # AL59202 that you referenced or the AL59103 would work well for suspension enhancement on your 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 4 inch drop.

The # AL59202 is for vehicles with a 4 to 6 inch drop, the # AL59103 is for 2-4 inch drops.

Since most likely your suspension has some miles on it I would imagine that the ride height has lowered a bit more than the 4 inches over time so the 4-6 inch system # AL59202 would probably be more ideal for you.

The 2,000 lbs spec that each of these kits has is the amount of additional suspension support the system can provide. Since your trailer weights a total of 3,800 lbs the tongue weigh would fall way under this figure and the system would work well.
