Matte black, powder coated steel is durable and corrosion resistant and creates a rugged look.This installation was a nightmare! I tried for multiple hours to get this installed, turns out the hitch itself was bent and did not align with the frame correctly (see picture). I had to spend hundreds of dollars ontop of all of the time/effort already input to get the product unbent and installed.
For a product made for my 2022 Chevrolet Blazer, I find I have to modify the frame rail to install the hitch. The hole in the frame to pull up the bolt and lock mechanism is too large for the hole. Why? Worksmanship is excellent on the hitch. It's just the attachment that's the rub.

I am sorry for the confusion that you had to go through. I do see that we have a tech tip that says that the access holes may need to be enlarged by drilling, filing, or rotary tool.
Never a problem dealing with etrailer.
Installed on my 2022 Chevy Blazer with no problem. The Installation video was awesome and a great help!
This is not my first order from trailer. Again it's been a great experience, the hitch fit great, I watched the how to video, and all went easy.

Excellent quality hitch, at an affordable price. Only reason I took one star off the review is that it took much longer to attach to my 2020 Chevy Blazer than the directions indicated.
Perfect easy installation
Installtion took a little time due to the complexity of fishing the brackets into the frame, but the videos on the site were very helpful.
I haven't even opened the box yet. I needed a 2" receiver for our new Blazer. I bought this same thing from you guys a few years back but only for our old rouge. I was so pleased that this time I came here first.
have not installed yet. Had issues with receiving the order etrailer was a 5* to work with to addressing the issue.
When, in little harder than I thought fit perfectly
Hitch was great quality. Installed on 2023 Blazer red line. Did need an extra set of hands as shown in install video. Did not need to drop exhaust. Followed instructions and had no issues.
Hitch installed as described and is quite functional.

Instructions were lacking, but not too hard to install. Would be great if instructions to remove the lower bumper trim were included.

I am so sorry you had to go through all that! Most of the time, when a hitch isnt lining up quite right, it is because the flanges or wings have been bent a little in the shipping and transit process. Bending them back to the proper shape is easier than you might think! I have attached a link to an article that shows a few different ways you can do this if you ever run into this problem again.
