Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at the TorkLift Rubber Camper Bumpers. These camper bumpers protect the front bulkhead of your truck, which is right behind the cab, while transporting your bed-mounted camper. Now these are heavy duty, rubber cushions that space between the camper and the bulkhead. The bumper is installed on the front of the camper. You'd want to use some butyl tape to create a nice weatherproof joint or weatherproof seal. The butyl tape is not included, but it does come with the necessary hardware to get installed.
So, with this part number, you're going to get two bumpers. You're going to get four quarter inch flat washers and four quarter inch by two and a half inch long bolts or screws. The product is made in the U.S.A. It's covered with limited lifetime warranty. I'll go ahead and pull out one of the screws so show it to you.
Again, these are quarter inch diameter screws that measure two and a half inches long.See, right there, you can either use a socket head or a flat-blade head. Really nice design. Good hardware, but again butyl tape or some type of sealant will need to be used, and that component is not included with this kit. It also comes with detailed installation instructions to walk you through that process step by step. Both these measure the same, so we're just going to take a measurement of one and it applies to the other.
So, overall, length, edge to edge, measures about seven and three quarters of an inch. Overall width at the widest point is going to give us a measurement of about two and one quarter inches. Then, the overall thickness or height is right at two inches. These mount holes are separated apart from another on center by about four and three quarters of an inch. TorkLift's rubber bumpers help to prevent damage to the front bulkhead of your truck while you are transporting your camper. Set of 2.Mounted them in the bed of the truck rather than on the camper. Moved the strips on the camper so that they would line up with the bumpers. I have a Lance Camper that has (2) hard plastic strips that are 1/4" thick and they did not protect the camper from hitting the top bulkhead of the truck. Problem solved - I now have approx. 1/2" clearance and since the rubber bumpers are lined up with the hard plastic strips the camper slides down nicely without damaging any paint. Didn't want to mount them on the camper because the spray-on bedliner is very rough and felt that over time it would abrade that rubber bumper. Mounting them on the truck and centering them to the hard plastic strips on the camper resolves this problem.
Purchased this item to replace the 2x4 wood spacer I was using in my F350 when carrying my Lance 1172 truck camper. Perfect spacing when installed on the front bed panel. Remember to install them high enough to allow for the camper to be raised when unloading it if you have the Wobblestopper brackets installed as I do.

Original camper bumpers were too high for my Dodge Ram bed, these TorkLift Camper Bumpers were just what I needed. Mounted them lower on the camper and the the extra depth makes plenty of clearance between the bed and camper. Very easy to mount, just make sure what you are drilling into.

Easy to install and work as advertised. This is a simple but well made part. I do not expect to have any problems with it.
Love these. Installed them on a Lance 1172. Works to keep camper from coming too close to front of the truck.

They work great...Just wish that the dealer had put them on so that damage would have prevented...but they most likely would not have gone to the extent of moving the plastic strips like I did. Everything is perfect now!!!
