  • Simple, One-Time Installation

SnapPads install quickly and easily, and never need to be removed. Install each pad one at a time. Begin by placing the pad beneath your jack, ensuring that the pad and foot are properly aligned.

    SnapPad jack pad installation

Lower the jack until the lip of the pad fully engages around its foot and locks into place. You'll hear a snapping sound once the pad is securely installed. Repeat this process for the remaining pads. Installation is permanent, so once you have the SnapPads secured, you'll never have to worry about crawling under your RV to place pads again.

I had seen a camper with the pads on the jacks and thought they were a good idea. I received mine and had them on in less than 10 minutes. I am very pleased with them. "Thanks etrailer"

I am very pleased with the Jack pads. I rarely need to use blocks anymore and leveling is so much easier with them plus they are great on my asphalt driveway. I give them a A++

The snap pads are great! They were easy to in stall, and and add stability. Great product. Everything we have bought for our RV at etrailer has been a quality product!

@Carol We're glad your SnapPads are working well for you!

    by:

I've had Snap Pads on my Class A motorhome for over 2 years, and have installed them on 4 friends' Class A's.
Recently bought a set from etrailer for another friend and just installed them on his Class C. They make setup and breakdown much easier for all of us and we wouldn't go back to standard jack pads.
My recent purchase on etrailer was simple with quick delivery and the price was better than either Amazon or direct from Snap Pad.

Now 3 years with my Snap Pads and still love them! So do the 5 friends I installed them for since I got mine. GREAT Product.

I installed the snap pads on my RV. I thought they were on OK got to the camp ground on first trip and one pad was gone. Checked and the other were not on fully. I ordered a new pad but have not tried to put them back on. The snap pads did not snap on even with Dawn...that was a year ago and I do not have a lot of confidence they will snap on when I lower my jacks. I have a concrete drive but the pads on my RV just did not snap in like they should. Snap pads worked fine on my Big Foot levelers on my last RV.

These pads should be snapping on for you and staying on. Sometimes there is a clearance issue around or above the metal foot. You would want to have at least 2 inches of full clearance to the sides of the retracted foot and at least 0.75 inches of clearance from the top edge of the foot and above. In transit ground clearance can also cause pad loss. When traveling over curbs, speedbumps, and potholes the landing feet can be set closer to the ground and when driving over these areas the suspension of the rig forces the feet further down. It is recommended that a minimum of 6 inches of full ground clearance is needed to safely use the pads. Also to note that on some of the newer Class A motorhomes that are heavier they use the 9 inch feet plates that can become concaved when used. They will not fail however it makes it near impossible to install SnapPads and keep them on.

    by:

SnapPads are a convenient addition to my fifth wheel however the metal front pads hold water and if I remove the SnapPads to clean & preserve them, then the warranty is voided.

    Michael

    3/29/2024

Not so good. Snap pad holds water causing the foot pad to rust. If I remove snap pad then warranty is voided but then I have a badly corroded foot pad.

    by:

Great little product. Love having the pad permanently attached to the jack. Worked perfectly at every campground we've been to for an entire season. Secure footing on any surface. Mounting was a snap, literally.

    by:

So glad I accepted the recommendation of many and made this purchase. Prior to that, the feet on our jacks were under a lot of stress, and even bending in one place. After a super easy 5 minute install, our coach is now on a stable and supportive base no matter the ground underneath. Well worth the money for these as a must have accessory.

    Dennis R.

    3/16/2024

After a year my Snap Pads have held up perfectly. Over this last year I have been in more than one unlevel site situation. The pads have been a big help with a more stable footprint. Highly recommend.

    by:

I like the concept of the pads and they work ell on the cement however one has never fit well and will not stay in place so I have to “sit” it under the Jack pad each time. I would like to get a replacement for that one since it will not snap on.

Lesley, what I am going to do is send you the warranty link from SnapPad. A new one can be sent out.

    by:

The work fine and a great addition to my RVs I have them on my Pickup Camper and 5th wheel. My only nit to pick is I wish they a slight better water drainage and they are pricy for what the really are. Easy to install and recommend everyone would have them if the price was lower.

    by:

Just as easy to install as the video shows, I have ordered the Snapads for the center jack to complete the set. Thanks etrailer

Had to spray a bit of silicone to get it to snap in but overall very happy with the product.

    4/13/2024

    They are great!

    by:

I watched the installation video and used soapy water. Pads all snapped into place first try. Levels up the motorhome and holds it place in loose gravel. Looking forward to see how they hold while on the road.

After driving across the USA and Canada the pads are still in place and haven’t shaken loose. Great products and highly recommended.

    by:

Once there on they stay on. While we were on a trip an 18 wheeled through a tire and it went under our coach and I thought one or more jack pads were gone when I pulled off the freeway I found a bent drive shaft and a bent exhaust pipe and all of the Jack pads were still in place.

    Hugh

    12/4/2023

Great. No more Blocks under the jacks

    by:

3 of the 4 snap pads went on easily. For whatever reason, the forth was a problem, etrailer was quick to solve our problem.

    by:

I was able to put the pads on the front to Jack’s, but could not get them to remain on the rear jacks. I put them on several times, but each time they seem to flex off of the rear jacks. They are the same size as the front one, so I’m not sure what the issue is, the front ones work well they would be five star if I could get the rear ones to work

    by:

These were a breeze to install and they add an extra layer of protection to the landing gear pads. Once you add these pads to your rear land gear you’ll want to ensure you have a clearance of a minimum of six inches from the bottom of the pad to the ground. Refer to you tube channel Big Truck Big RV for a great video on “how to”. One thing I’ve learned recently about the LCI Ground Control 3.0 leveling system is the importance of electrically extending the front jacks a minimum of six inches before dropping the pads. Doing so will allow the auto leveling system to work properly when selected. Again, once adding these pads to the rear jacks you’ll have to ensure there’s a minimum of six inch clearance from the bottom of the pad to the ground. If not you’ll have to unbolt and manually raise the rear jack(s) accordingly. This needed clearance allows the rear jacks to extend a minimum of six inches in order to level the trailer w/o raising the trailer’s tires off the ground. The Snap Pad also provides a slightly larger foot print.

    by:

They fit perfectly. The suggestion to use soap on the edges to help installation was great. Installation took less than 5 minutes per pad. Now I don't have to put pads down or worry about leaving them behind. Thank you

    Dale

    2/20/2024

They are great. Best investment. No need for boards or any other ground protection. would definitely recommend.

    by:

The SnapPads were easy to install and work great. The only thing I wish is that I would have bought these when I purchased my fifth wheeler. I have been able to just drop the legs to where I want to remove the trailer from the truck. No need for other blocks. I always enjoy dealing with etrailer for the best items to purchase for my RV.

    by:

These Jack pads worked better than expected. Based on my experience with them I feed there is less chance of slipping on most surfaces and won’t mar those surfaces as well.

    by:

SnapPads arrived two days earlier than expected. They were easy to install and fit perfectly. Thank you to the staff at etrailer.

    by:

Great product! Just a drop of dish detergent around the top inside lip then place underneath the jack and press into place…process works best with two people while parked on a hard, flat surface. I took care of the underneath placement while my wife operated the hydraulic leveling system. Like the name says, it was a Snap. Start to finish, all four finished in about 10 minutes. Looks great and makes setup a breeze.

    by:

The larger “footprint” of my levelers with the SnapPads provides more surface to resist sinking into q softer surface at a campsite. The rubber covering also keeps the metal feet from rusting due to contact with wet soil. For both of these reasons, I really like the SnapPads.

    by:

Overall, the snap pads are great and exactly as advertised. However, what they don’t tell you is that the stock landing pads in the LCI levelers are so poorly designed with thin, easily bent metal, that even with the snap pads properly installed they still bend when parked on uneven surfaces, bending the pad and dislodging the snap pad. I remedied this by purchasing 1/4” steel landing pads from [online]. Their brilliant mounting technique allows a secure mount with sufficient foot movement to securely park on uneven surfaces. Now I travel worry-free knowing that I’ll have great landing pads every time I arrive at our location.

Yes we have found that on some of the newer Class A motorhomes that are heavier they use the 9 inch feet plates that can become concaved when used. They will not fail however it makes it near impossible to install SnapPads and keep them on. It is not something that Lippert nor SnapPad can control. You can replace the foot plates with 12 inch foot plates and then use larger SnapPads with them, keeping in mind the that you will need 14 inches of full clearance around their retracted feet to allow for the diameter of the SnapPad.

    by:

Quick, easy installation. Have noticed less ground compaction or jack base sinking into grass.

    by:

The Snap Pads were very easy to install and in my opinion are the best product on the market. Thank you etrailer

If you're having trouble installing your SnapPads # SP54FR4 then SnapPad actually recommends lifting the jack foot up 3-4" and using a shim to pry the corner of the pad up and help as the jack foot comes back down, sort of like using a shoe horn to get your foot into a shoe. You could also try rubbing a bit of dish soap around the rim of the pad and jack foot to help it slide in easier.
