Ideal for Part-Time RVers

When you're taking your RV on the road for weeks at a time, you'll want to make sure your toilet can handle that long a journey. This toilet is built for part-time RVers who use their RV more frequently than just on the weekends. It's just as tall as a standard residential toilet, so it's easy to sit down on and get up from. The ceramic bowl is more durable and easier to clean than a plastic bowl. And the lid closes slowly, so it won't loudly slam against the rim. This toilet provides the durability and ease of use needed for your long RV adventures.

Measure to Fit

RV toilet rough in measurement

There's one measurement you should double check to see if this toilet will easily fit into your bathroom. The rough-in measurement is the minimum distance you'll need from the wall to the center of the flange on which the toilet will sit. To measure this distance without uninstalling your current toilet, the mounting bolts on the side will typically tell you where the center of the flange is. You may want to triple check if your toilet has an offset flange or 4-bolt mounting style.

The Dometic 310 Series RV toilet has a rough-in measurement of 10". If your rough-in measurement is less than 10", select a toilet model with a lower requirement or consider alterations to make it fit. Keep in mind the overall dimensions of the toilet, and measure for yourself to pick the best model for an easy DIY upgrade.

This was a direct replacement for my old Dometic 310. Cracked and leaking base. I've been around RVs since I was about 10 years old. Now 60. This is the best RV toilet I've found. Only complaint is related to water flow after filter. *filters fault* normal pump pressure cleans with good swirling action. The original toilet, I had to shim the foot pedal to prevent dumping action from slight pressure for filling.the new toilet was perfect. etrailers service has always been great for all of my purchases. Nice to talk to reps that actually understand what you're trying to order.

by:

This toilet was a replacement for the same Dometic toilet that was 8 years old but developed a hairline crack in the bowl. Toilet was the same color and installed easily. etrailer shipped it to the RV park where we were staying and it arrived on time and in fine shape.

by:

They all leak. The bowl will not hold water. This is my 4th one. The last one it took a second one to solve the problem and it didn’t last long. That was over 10 years ago. DOMETIC still hasn’t solved the problem.
I will not buy another DOMETIC Toilet. Leaked from the first day. Cleaning the gasket isn’t helping. I can send you a DOMETIC toilet bowl with no water in it but who wants to see the inside of a toilet

by:

Based on other reviews we purchased the 310 part-timer. Item came in just 2 days. We have not installed it yet, the camper is still winterized, but I think it should work just perfectly.

by:

@Roxanne That is awesome! Thanks for sharing.

by:

Exactly what I ordered. Very sturdy pedestal toilet. Easy installation. Shipment was quick and delivered in perfect condition.

by:

After a year, flushes great, no leaks, the only issue I'd have is id like a little wider exit, or wider design,so waste doesn't pile up.

by:

Shipping was fast! I recommend etrailer for your rv needs!

by:

When it was originally sent I had an issue with UPS - the box arrived damaged and empty! Someone at UPS probably dropped it. I did not accept the delivery - contacted etrailer who acted fast and I just got the replacement in what seems to be perfect condition today. Excited to install it soon - really like the height improvement and it looks much better than the original 300 plastic model.

Product is working great - used it all summer. Super easy to install because of compatibility I am not that handy. Only issue was getting the seal on just right - had to take off once when seal moved when installing and it leaked but everything perfect 2nd try. Much nicer and now glad my original 300 model broke!

by:

sold 4 to friends after using mine. price & product is great.

by:

Real nice toilet, replaced a Dometic 300 which had a odor problem. Easy to install works great. Good price and shipped quickly. I had ordered 2 from [online vendor] and both were broken when received.
I recommend etrailer!

by:

18 months later..A little awkward to say you love your toilet..Yep. Footprint fits our little bathroom, good height, ceramic is great for cleaning. All mechanisms work good.
Happy with the throne..

by:

LOVE the raised height works great and the whirlpool flush is better than prior. My prior toilet had a broken flush valve over winter use so implementing better practices (eg mini space htr in bathroom when not winterized) so reliability more than 1 year I can’t yet speak to.
ONLY ding is this doesn’t fit properly in the mini(?) toilet this replaced in my 2019 Salem FSX. By properly I mean toilet fits water flange but lid doesn’t full open/ close w/o rotating base inwards on install compared to mini-let due to tight quarters. Strange/ new orientation when I’m taking care of bidness yet fully functional - just word of caution for those with smaller RVs/ br spaces

by:

Easy installation and works perfect

by:

A much better quality very happy

by:

Exactly what we ordered.artived on time. Great packaging.

by:

This was my first time using etrailer. My 310 toilet arrived in a few days in great shape and was an easy install.

We are full timers and so far no issues. In fact the ball seal works better than the previous exact same model which must of had a defect.

by:

So far so good. Thanks

by:

Like the higher seat position and the foot fill/flush

by:

Got what i wanted and expected/Perfect fit, no issues and would highly recommend it.
Thanks for the great service!

by:

When I received my order part of the order was damaged during shipping, I contacted etrailer and advised them of the issue, The phone was answered on the first try and the lady was extremely helpful and polite and replaced the item immediately. I received the new item Within days of calling. Thank you etrailer for being the best. I highly recommend etrailer

by:

The toilet Seat cover broke within the first 30 days. It must’ve been defective, because overall the toilet is very well put together. Very durable. I would’ve gave it five stars if it wasn’t for the defective toilet seat cover.

by:

Love the upgrade to our trailer. Easy install. would reccomend

by:

Very sweet.lady took my order,im very pleased with her expertise and kindness

by:

It's everything I expected which seems to be very rare these days. I will definitely use you for any future needs. The price is exceptional and I've told my friends. Thank you

  • Are There Any RV Toilets With A Higher Water Inlet
All of the RV toilets that we currently offer have a low water inlet, just like the # DOM37FR you were looking at. The only solution would be to get an extension hose with a 90 degree fitting so that you can attach to inlet and have enough hose to bend around and avoid the wall.

  • Distance from Bolt Centers to back of Dometic Part Timer RV Toilet
The distance from the back of the toilet to the center of the bolt holes that secure the Dometic Part-Timer RV Toilet # DOM37FR is 14-3/4 inches. The center of the bolts is inline with the center of the toilet like what you see in the dimensional drawing I attached.

  • How To Connect A Dometic 310 RV Toilet To A Supply Line That's Too Far Away
You'll just need to run to your local hardware store and grab a supply line to connect your Dometic 310 Part-Timer RV Toilet # DOM37FR to your water inlet. I had to do the same in the attached video below when the new toilet I was installing had the supply line connectors on the opposite side compared to the old setup. There are a variety of different connection types so you'll want to see exactly how the hose will need to connect to your supply line. The hose I got had a "shark bite"...

  • Solution for Dometic 310 Toilet with Damaged Foot Pedal
Hey Sandra so we've actually checked with Dometic in the past about seeing if they have replacement foot pedals for the 310 and they do not have that as a replaceable part. Only solution would be to replace the toiled or modify what you have now to get rid of the sharp edges like with a file or sandpaper. If you're good with replacing the whole assembly then we have the Dometic 310 toilet available in Tan Ceramic # DOM37FR and White Ceramic # DOM57FR.

The biggest difference between the Dometic 310 part 302310093 you've currently got and the Dometic Part-Timer # DOM57FR is that the Part-Timer comes with an all wood, slow-close seat where your existing model is the retail model that comes with the plastic seat.
