Today we're going to be taking a look at part number D12676-95. This is the Demco 2-tank clevis, adjustable mount design. The 2-tank clevis is designed to couple with a lunette ring. Clevis pin is sold separately. If we take a measurement of the diameter of the hole right here, that's going to give us a measurement of about 1 inch. The platform with the hole can also be used a ball mount for standard towing.

The adjustable channel mount is going to let you change the height of your clevis depending on the application. Channel bracket and mounting hardware are sold separately. This unit is made from a sturdy steel construction. It's going to feature a zinc plating so it's going to offer ultimate corrosion resistance and it's going to feature a 200-hour salt spray rating. This is designed for 3-inch wide channel brackets. We can get that by taking measure from outside edge to outside edge.

That's going to give us a measurement of just under 3 inches so it's going to give a plenty of room to slide into a 3-inch wide channel bracket. Now the weight capacity on the 2-tank clevis is going to be 20,000 pounds. If we take a measurement the distance that we have between the 2 channel bracket mounting holes center on center, that looks like it's going to measure right on 2 inches. Those holes are going to have a diameter of just 5/8 of an inch so they're designed to accept and work with 5/8 inch diameter bolts. Again hardware sold separately. A few measurements to go over here with the clevis portion or the tank, that's going to give us a width about 13/16 of an inch.

Each one is going to be the same. The inside width that we have right here between the 2 tanks, that's going to give us a measurement of 2 and 1 quarter of an inch. Overall width from outside edge to outside edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 3 and 7/8 of an inch. Now the depth that we have if I measure from the back wall here to the closest point of the clevis hole, that's going to give us a measurement of about 2 and a half inches. I do have an adjustable channel bracket here just to show you how it works. Simply slide it in and then you can adjust it as needed. Now channel brackets are going to come with a lot of different holes here on the side.

This one is going to be a 1, 2, 3 position channel bracket. I know that we sell some that go up to 5 position channel bracket. You can chose whatever when you need if you don't have one and we do offer those here on our website but you put your clevis in there and then you can move it around as needed, just line up the holes and start the hardware and again that is going to be sold separately.
