I was hoping to fill out a review of my recent interaction with eTrailer but cannot update a previous review or add a new one.

I had an issue with some towing mirror extensions that I purchased where one of the mirrors shattered very very easily. Dena contacted me and offered a replacement and subsequently had the new items shipped very quickly. Just want to say thanks to Dena for her awesome customer service and kindness. You rock!

2018 Chevrolet Silverado

I just sold my 2006 Silverado with these same CIPA brand tow mirrors, and bought a 2018 Silverado WT 1500. Mirrors would not fit from old truck. These new mirrors arrived in just a couple of days and no damage en-route (very sturdy outer box with the two mirrors in separate boxes inside). After 13 years of flawless performance I knew I had to get the same CIPA brand again. They stayed on my truck for 13 years and NEVER once wiggled loose or were lost. I look forward to another 13 years out of these new CIPA mirrors. Glad they are still in business and I would give them 10 stars if I could. GREAT COMPANY, GREAT PRODUCTS and EXCELLENT SERVICE...towed with them today and great field of view

Flawless after a years use, and over 60 truck washes... But driver side mirror cover did have to get replaced after 25 pound wild turkey hit it at 45 mph !! I’d say it saved my truck mirror by taking all the impact and ripping off the cover!! Easily replaced the cover, saved me $800 from replacing the truck mirror!! Still 10 stars review

These mirrors have served us well with our half ton GMC when pulling our 28-foot travel trailer. Easy to put on and remove, they're a perfect choice for towing. They provide a "factory finish" look when installed.

One year later still Lionel these mirrors. They are holding up well, and are so easy to handle. From a safety point they are very easy to see past the trailer and are also easy to adjust. Love them still!

2017 GMC Sierra

These Ciba mirror extensions fit my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 mirrors perfectly.

Mirror image is clear - no vibration effects at all.

Installation is easy - make sure you place the adhesive anti-vibration pad inside the mirror correctly & be careful tightening the plastic threaded "knobs" when securing to your actual truck mirrors.

by:

driver side mirror broke when adjusting it etrailer sent me a new one right away to replace it thanks etrailer

by:

We used the mirrors to pull a travel trailer. Since we have bought a fifth wheel trailer and the mirrors work gray for this also. Only down side is I don’t like the way the right hand mirror sight picture is. I can’t quite get the picture angle I prefer but give the mirrors hug marks

2017 Chevrolet Silverado

I just purchased a new 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 4.3 L V6, 8ft bed, base model truck, with no options. The truck is rated to tow a 5900 lbs trailer with a CGVW limit of 11000 lbs. I will be towing a Lance 1985 travel trailer, that weighs in around 4500 lbs wet. With excellent reviews and outstanding installation videos from etrailer.com, I ordered the Curt C14006 class IV hitch; the Tekonsha proportional Prodigy P3 brake controller; the Tekonsha plug-in wiring adapter specified for my truck; Cipa custom slip-on towing mirrors; and the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket - HM40975 specified for my truck. All new Chevy Silverado 1500's (even the base model with no options) comes from the factory pre-wired with a basic seven wire trailer towing harness already installed. Everything electric just plugged in without a single cut or splice of the wiring or any other wiring modifications. I just followed the instructions in the excellent installation videos on the etrailer.com website. The hitch installed quickly and lined up perfectly with factory bolt holes already on the truck frame, no drilling required. Finally I slipped on the Cipa custom towing mirrors and I was ready to tow after about two hours work. If I would have ordered my truck with a factory tow package, integrated brake controller, and extendable towing mirrors, the options would have run me slightly over $1450 on a new Chevy truck. Instead, I spent two hours of my own time doing the installations and paid about $550 for all the parts by ordering by from etrailer.com. Nice savings. You need to have a good set of socket and open end wrenches, including a torque wrench adjustable to a minimum of 110 ft/lbs for the hitch bolts. Spend some time and review all the installation videos for the parts that you need to order. The etrailer.com website also has downloadable installation instructions provided by the parts manufacturers.

by:
2015 GMC Sierra 1500

I’ve had these towing mirrors for a year now and they work great for when towing my travel trailer. Very easy to put on and take off. Recommend this product for everyone.

by:

My package arrived in perfect condition and the mirrors fit great... see photos

I've had these type mirrors for many years generally purchasing from my RV dealer and use when pulling my 28' travel trailer.

When I bought my 2014 pickup I found none of the local RV dealers handle this type any more and bought the cheap strap on morrow that vibrate like made in any wind making it hard to see anything. I found your web site and with the help of your search engine, found just the right part numbers for my truck.
The product works great and fits nicely, protecting my chrome mirrors with the rubber guards included with the mirrors.
Thanks very much.

2016 Chevrolet Silverado

I bought this product for when I tow mt 22 ft rv.
It arrived on time and took about 15 minutes to install including the foam pads to protect your mirrors. I drove 2800 miles to Dever and back and they never came lose or vibrated ...Worked great

by:
GMC

Just put these on my new GMC and It took longer to read the instructions (4 steps) than it did for the installation. Piece of cake! Well worth the purchase price. Can’t wait to put them to use hauling the travel trailer down the road.

by:
2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Everything fits well and mounted easily. Haven't had a chance to use while pulling my camper, so I will give a update after a few uses. That being said, the fitment is a nice tight fit, and the mirror itself is snug in its retainer. I don't foresee any vibrations.

Wow is all I can say!! These are great towing mirrors!! The dealership wanted $1300 for extended towing mirrors!!

  • Tow Mirror Recommendation for 2014 Chevy Silverado that Allows Full Use of Electric Functions
The current mirrors on your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 are heated since you have power adjustment and turn signals. The heat option is basically a standard option at this point and your truck has it. The only thing we don't have is power folding option and the temperature gauge. Based on you wanting to retain these features your best option for tow mirrors would be a slip on style like part # CM10950 which will fit your factory mirrors and won't interfere with any electronics in them. The chrome caps on side mirrors have proven to be somewhat problematic for towing mirrors such as # CM10950 for your 2018 GMC Sierra 1500.
