Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper. Once you've plugged in the tow harness, insert 2 of the blue relays and the brown relay into the included jumper harness. This harness then plugs into the port that is located behind the driver's-side trim panel in your rear cargo area. Plug the remaining 2 blue relays directly into the relay box under your hood.
Once installation is complete, the 7-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 7-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

2017 Nissan Pathfinder
I couldn't have done this without the install video on etrailer.com. Taking the trim apart on my vehicle was a lot more comfortable when I walked thought the video step by step. The install was relatively painless. This harness went along with etrailer product number 76301 (trailer hitch receiver). In hind sight, I wish I installed the tail light connectors BEFORE I put in the receiver. The connectors were harder to reach with the receiver in the way.
I DID NOT use the 7 pin connector that came with the package. I wanted a 7-pole and 4-pole connector for flexibility. I used etrailer.com's part number HM40975 which was compatible with this item.

Infiniti QX60
Product was well designed and constructed. Installation instructions were good but finding the mating plugs in the Infinity QX 60 was a chore to see them and to access them. Not the fault of E-Trailers, just the way it was. E-Trailers support has always been excellent and this is the second towing package I have purchase from them.

So a quick prerequisite; to my knowledge this is the ONLY wiring harness available ANYWHERE for a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. That being said for $** for the Harness and mounting bracket after shipping and handling, it is on heck of a deal.
Heads up, the paper instructions aren’t very detailed. I’d recommend watching a [online] video. etrailer also recommends a video to watch in the emails they send after purchasing.
Shipping was faster than usual and etrailer is very transparent on when they accept your order and when it is actually shipped.
They asked me to take photos of the process probably for this review specifically. I do apologize to anyone expecting to see photos… I Forgot.
Bear in mind you will probably have to get creative with the mounting bracket. Hope you have a cordless drill. Please don’t mount it to the bumper plastic, that is not long term and it will eventually fall off.
Everything works beautifully, it was a pain but it’s worth every penny.

worked well but somehow I wiggled the wrong wire and now the rear tailgate door doesn't lock . I will open things up again to try to find the problem. I wish I had a color coded wire diagram.

Also easy to install. Worked correctly on 1st try. Would like to see etrailer include a little diagram showing how to check the wiring using a little pocket meter (which is also quick to do if you don't have a trailer to connect to check it).

2015 Nissan Pathfinder
I had to wire my 2014 nissian Pathfinder trailer hook ups. I got the products from etrailer. Followed the videos. Took me 15 minutes give or take a few. I will always recommend etrailer from now on. I also had a problem with my shipping address and was contacted by email. And etrailer got it figured out quikly.

Quick easy and painless. Everything went together nicely, big thanks to the install video. Always nice to watch it done one time especially when your removing interior panels. Wish I would have done the underneath wiring prior to installing my hitch, would have saved a minute.

- Should My RV Be Running When Connecting the Tow Vehicle?
It doesn't really make a difference if your RV is running or turned off while actually connecting. Turning your RV off sounds like an unnecessary extra step. If you're having issues with the wiring or your connectors just let me know what what's going on and I will be happy to help troubleshoot. Frayed or incorrect wiring or severed connections could be causing a short that you would encounter whether you're hooking up or towing.
