Video Transcript for Review of Curt Off Road Accessories - Tow Hook - Loop - C45832

Today, we're gonna take a look at the CURT Tow Strap Loop, for 2-inch hitches, with a 13,000 lb line pull. Now, this tow ring will let you attach recovery straps, cable, or rope to be used in agricultural, industrial, or recreational applications. Now, the strap, cable or rope we do sell separately on our website. This is a hitch-mounted design. It ensures quick, simple installation and removal. You can see it does have multiple holes on the shank, which allows you to turn this 90 degrees if you want the hooks to be vertical alignment. If you turn it this way, then you have your horizontal. It's a sturdy steel construction.

It is a solid shank, has a nice durable carbine black powder coat finish to it, and to install this into your hitch receiver it does require hitch pinning clip or hitch lock, which we do sell separately on our website.Few specs on this again, application is 2-inch by 2-inch trailer hitch receivers, maximum straight line pull, which is stamped right on the top here, is 13,000 lb, and this is not intended for towing use. I want to give you a few dimensions on this. The overall length from the back here, to the very edge with the loop sticking out, is going to be right at 12-inches. The length of just the shank right to here is 9 and 1/2-inches. The loop itself, inside diameter lengthwise is 1 and 3/4-inches, and widthwise is right at 2-inches.And just to show you if you need to remove the loop here, you have this pin that you can just unscrew, and once you get it all the way unscrewed, you can pull the pin out, and then remove the loop from the shank portion.

And then to put it back in, you can just slide this through, and then go ahead and thread it on until it tightens down. And then once you got it tightened, then you're all ready to go.But, that should do if for the review on the CURT tow strap loop for 2-inch hitches, with a 13,000 lb line pull.
