Was able to install with 1 person, used floor jack to support. Full size OEM spare fits for 18" tires - but tight fit - cant have a larger spare. less then 5 stars as the fit is a little short - should be 1/4" wider. Hitch does not meet metal to metal on the lower brackets, even with the spacers installed. The spacers are loose behind it because of the short length.

by:

Trailer is always good. Reasonable price, fast delivery. That's why I keep coming back

by:

Couldn’t be happier.

by:

I thought this would be a replacement of the stock receiver but it is designed to mount underneath the stock receiver which looks terrible and would most certainly reduce the departure angle for off-road use. I didn't install it and had to take a big loss selling it on FB because I waited too long to return it to E-trailer. A better option if your stock receiver is worn out is to buy an aftermarket bumper and a new receiver that will mount in the same place as the stock receiver. Live and learn.

2020 Ford F-150

Nice product; handles tongue weight’s that exceed the factory receiver. Super straight forward, easy install.

by:

Great product, price, shipping and customer service!

by:

The hitch is definitely heavy duty (also heavy) but it hangs about 6" down below the bumper. That would not be a problem except for dragging in rough terrain. The paper instructions were not too good but the video from etrailer cleared it all up.

by:

Fast service, went in fast and easy.

by:

Arived on time and easy installation. All parts fit with mo adjustments necessary

by:

Product as described. Just like other reviews have said, my box came destroyed too. Saving grace was the hardware was taped very well to the hitch. Good quality.

by:
2021 Ford F-150

Direction are not real clear. Maybe redo them. If possible make the bolts just a tad longer. Other than that great product.

by:

I have only been able to use it once for a hour and 45 minute drive and it was superb.

by:

Very easy to install! Solid built hitch and American made!!

by:
2018 Ford F-150

  • Will Curt Trailer Hitch # C26HR Fit 2018 Ford F-150 with Factory Support Beam for Bumper Hitch Ball
I reached out to my contact at Curt and he said if your 2018 Ford F-150 just has the crossbeam that sits below the rear bumper for hitch ball support then you can indeed use the Curt Class IV Trailer Hitch Receiver # C26HR, which is designed for trucks that don't have the factory hitch receiver. He said this will mount to the frame rails on the truck without any interfere with that steel tube. This is a better option for your truck since it allows for increased ground clearance compared...

  • Does Curt Hitch for 2017 Ford F-150 With Factory Hitch Remove Need for Weight Distribution
Adding the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C26HR to your 2017 Ford F-150 will not remove the need for a weight distribution hitch. It is always highly recommended to use a weight distribution system when your trailer weight is more than 50 percent of your vehicle's weight. So for a 2017 Ford F-150, which weighs anywhere between 4,000 lbs and 5,700 lbs, a weight distribution hitch is recommended, either with the factory hitch or when using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C26HR. For a...

  • Trailer Hitch with Most Capacity for 2019 Ford F-150 Truck
The trailer hitch with the most capacity that fits your 2019 Ford F-150 is the Curt # C26HR, which has a 1,000 lb tongue weight capacity and 10,000 lb towing capacity. This is a Class IV hitch with a 2 inch receiver that is a complete bolt-on installation which does not require any type of drilling into your truck's frame. This hitch has a mostly hidden crosstube, as you can see in the accompanying photo, so your 2019 F-150 can maintain its factory appearance. The Curt # C14017 is made...

  • Will The Curt Class IV Hitch C26HR Fit A 2021 Ford F-150 With A 6-1/2 Foot Bed
As long as your 2021 Ford F-150 with 6-1/2 foot bed does not include the factory hitch, which your picture shows that you do not, you are good to go with the American made Curt Class IV # C26HR. This will bolt directly to you frame and will offer you 10,000 pounds towing and 1,000 pounds of tongue weight capacity. This jumps to 12,000 pounds and 1,200 pounds respectively when weight distribution is used. However, I do recommend double checking the weight capacity in your owner's manual...

  • Is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C26HR Visible On A 2021 Ford F-150
Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C26HR is going to be somewhat visible. The cross tube will be hidden but you will see the receiver tube sticking out from under your 2021 Ford F-150's bumper (see attached picture). We also carry a variety of hitch covers like the # 22282 to help prevent water from sitting in your receiver tube and rusting while not in use. I've linked our page of hitch covers so you can choose the perfect design to suit your style.

  • Will Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit 2018 Ford F-150 With Factory Hitch
The Draw-Tite # DT35MR will only fit the 2018 Ford F-150 without the factory hitch. According to Draw-Tite, even if you remove the factory hitch it won't fit. The older Q&A was incorrect and I apologize for the confusion. The best option for a hitch that will fit along with the factory hitch is the Curt # C26HR. This has a max gross trailer weight of 10,000 lbs.

The 2019 Ford F-150 with the 3.5 liter EcoBoost engine has more than enough capacity to tow a 6,300 lb trailer like you have. The 2WD versions look to have a capacity of 11,100 lbs and the 4WD models 9,400 which easily would handle the weight of a 6,300 lb trailer. The Curt hitch you referenced does not fit your truck, but we do have the # C26HR which is a Class IV hitch that fits if you do have the factory hitch, or part # C13903 which fits if you do not have the factory hitch.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch and Weight Distribution System for 2015 Ford F-150 with Travel Trailer
If you have the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C86HR, then I recommend upgrading your hitch to the Class IV # C26HR which is rated for up to 1,200 lbs when using weight distribution. The reason is because weight distribution is based on loaded trailer tongue weight as well as any cargo weight behind the rear axle of the truck. This can easily increase your loaded trailer tongue weight and put you beyond the max capacity of your hitch when using weight distribution. For your weight distribution...
