  • Adjustable air pressure: 5 psi - 35 psi

Heavy loads can cause the back of your vehicle to sag and add unnecessary stress to your suspension. This stress not only affects your brakes in a bad way, but your tires, headlight aim and handling suffer as well. To improve your vehicle's ability to endure heavy loads, you need to add support to your existing coil springs.

Air Lift's AirLift 1000 adjustable air springs have 1,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity and are made specifically to fit inside your rear coil spring suspension for additional load assistance. You can inflate and deflate these tough, molded polyurethane helper springs as needed, ensuring the perfect amount of support for every load, every time. Easily level your vehicle front to rear, and if you run dual air lines to the air springs at installation, then you can inflate the springs independently of one another for side-to-side leveling. AirLift 1000 is a breeze to install with standard tools and comes with an easy-to-follow instruction manual.

AirLift 1000 comes with manual inflation valves that are typically mounted on the bumper but can be installed anywhere on your vehicle for easy access. For even more convenience and control, you can add a compressor and gauge system (sold separately), which will let you monitor and automatically inflate your air springs.

Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can regulate the amount of air that you put into your air springs to maintain normal ride height - even when you are hauling a heavy load. You will need to adjust the air pressure in your air bags according to the size of your load.

Air Lift is positive that you will benefit from their air spring suspension system - so much so that they offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Install and use AirLift 1000 springs for 60 days, and if you are not satisfied at the end of this time, you can remove them from your vehicle and return them for a full product refund.

I like this system it makes our van safer when we are loaded and headed to the lake. Thank you!

by: 05/02/2023

The installation instructions was very easy to follow. It only took 2 hours from start to finish. As a DIYer just be cautious when lowering the the jack or raising the springs into position. You must ensure the air line is moving thru the rubber washer and not getting pinched.

2017 Dodge Grand Caravan

Everything arrived in a timely manner. I installed the product using the video. Installation was relatively easy. We'll see how the air lift system works over time, for now all seems well.
Installed on a 2017 Grand Caravan

The air lifts work great. They leveled my van as advertised. I would rate them a five if they would hold the air pressure. I have tried everything to stop them from leaking down but it seems it is an impossible task. I would not recommend them for towing long distances.

Yes, I did the air lines over sealing each joint and I have not had air deflation since. I am now very satisfied with this product. I have towed over 20,000 miles and have had no problem.

by:
2010 Chrysler Town and Country

I have not used the product yet.Instructions are very good, but air bags very difficult to get in the springs. Install time was about 2 hours.

Works well

Dodge Grand Caravan

Good product. Clear instructions and the video on e-trailer really makes the installation easy to understand. On my '08 Grand Caravan my shock absorber bolts were rusted in place and could not be removed. I worked around this by unbolting the top shock brackets from the body. Other than that the installation was fairly easy and just like the video shows.

2015 Dodge Ram Pickup

1 year later, this setup continues to work well on our 2015 Ram CV Tradesman minivan. We regularly tow a 3700 lb trailer with it, and the rear suspension does not sag at all with the air bags set to 25psi.

by:
2008 Chrysler Town and Country

Very satisfied!! I have an 08 town and country. I haul 7 adults 200 miles daily. Rear bumper was almost touching the ground until I installed these bad boys. Was very easy to install. I recommend using some glue at all the fittings of the air lines. I used a spry adhesive. Had the air bags in use for about a month now. No leaks and handles great.

by:
2013 Chrysler Town and Country

Great product. Just what I needed for my Chrysler Town&Country. I tow a small popup camper and these fit the bill. Installation was quite easy. The air hose cutter I purchased was a great asset to the installation. Have had them on for about a year now and no problems.

The air bags are working great. What a difference when we hook up our vintage travel trailer, put a couple of more pounds in the bags and up goes the rear of our tow vechicle. Thanks etrailer, Love them. Five on five.

by:

shipment was very prompt. air bags installation went well. Helped my camper swaying problem. does not sway anymore. Tried swayback but camper still swayed over 60 miles a hour. Now can go 70 with no problem with the camper swaying.

2015 Dodge Grand Caravan

Customer Service, great! I called 4:45 PM and needed the airbags the next day. I paid for overnight shipping and had them by 2:00 PM the next day.

Product, great! I can't comment on installation because I had mechanic install. But two days later, I drove 2,000 miles with six adults and the 2010 Grand Caravan drove better than brand new. I recommend 30 PSI for a full load, 15 for empty van.

by:
2015 Chrysler Town and Country

It was as advertised. I particularly like the detailed instructions that clearly covered the installation. Pictures in the diagrams were clear and appropriate. The product is to be used to maintain a level ride without rear end sagging of my van. This will eliminate headlight misalighnment from luggage during family trips.

  • Rear Coil Air Helper Springs for Towing Pop-Up Camper With 2016 Town & Country
Using an air helper spring like the # AL60814 would certainly help with sag, as you'll be able to adjust the air pressure in the springs to add more support. When it comes to ride quality when not towing, you won't notice much difference once the springs are aired down and if they're left aired up as you'd have them while towing, your ride will be a bit more rough. On the plus side, the springs will help reduce body roll experienced in turns which can be important for a taller vehicle...

  • Recommended Suspension Enhancement For 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan Towing Boat Trailer
With your 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, you have a towing capacity of 3600 lbs according to the manufacturer, so you won't have any issue with the boat weight and motor you mentioned. I recommend using the Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear # AL60814. This will allow you to manually add air to your springs to help your existing coil springs support the additional weight. This will allow you to tow level and that is very important for traction, headlight viewing...

For that much weight from passengers and the tongue weight of your trailer suspension enhancement like the AirLift kit part # AL60814 would be a great option. • Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan
We offer suspension enhancement kits that are a confirmed fit for your 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan like the Air Lift part # AL60814 which will give you more support when towing/carrying heavy cargo which would lift the suspension if it was sagging. But these kits are not lift kits designed to raise your stock ride height. I attached an install video for this kit in a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan like yours for you to check out as well.

  • Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan for Sagging While Towing
For as much load leveling as it sounds like you need I would recommend the Air Lift kit part # AL60814 for your 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan as it will allow you to fine tune the amount of suspension support you need. Be sure not to exceed the towing capacity of your vehicle though and you should note that these kits do not allow you any more towing capacity than what the vehicle is rated for.

I did some online research and found that the AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs, part # AL60814, are a fit for your 2014 Dodge Caravan. The air pressure is adjustable from 5 psi to 35 psi. This is a Class III hitch with a 2 inch opening that would work well for you. For suspension enhancement for the rear of your vehicle to help with the sag I would recommend the Air Lift Suspension Enhancement part # AL60814. The springs are designed to level out and support the rear suspension of your vehicle when it is sagging, but won't otherwise gain any additional lift.
