Black Molded ABS Mounting Bracket for Thin-Line Series Clearance and Side Marker Lights
A black molded ABS, surface mount bracket for use with MC65 Series lights. This all-weather, molded plastic bracket measures 4-1/16" long x 1-1/16" wide x 5/8" deep. The bracket mounts on standard 3" centers. This bracket can be used with a single-wire plug (A65P) or a two-wire plug (A68P). The light is grounded either through the mounting hardware (A65P) or a ground wire (A68P).

Replaced 18 year old lights on my trailer with these easy to install mounting brackets. They worked well with the Two Wire Plug (68P) and my new LED side markers(MCL63AB MCL63RB). Even with some minor wire repairs, it took less than 30 Minutes for all four side markers. Instructions were clear and concise (not written by some one in China)!

Here is a picture of these in use on the front of my truck, its an unorthodox mounting place and its supposed to be used on a trailer but I really love these things and I have installed them onto another guys truck as well

I have ordered parts for my truck , my friends cars and trucks . Service is always up front , parts are mad clear , I think i made 1 or 2 phone call and was taken care of right a way you know your stock . Shipping is always no problem with in a few day most the time it it before due date. Great people to deal with . Lots of other company should take your lead in service. I had broken a fender mount setting equipment on it. I got this to replace it. My only complaint is there isn't a spot to run the wires under that match my fender wires, from the side. This isn't a defect in design or manufacturing so I don't hold it against them. I knew this would be a problem.

- Mounting Base and Wiring Harness for Optronics Clearance Light # MCL63CABThere are different bases you can use for clearance light # MCL63CAB. You can use base # A65B that you have referenced. For that particular base you would use wiring harness # A68P. We also have base # A65PB or # A66PB. With these you would use wiring harness # A65P with the single wire because the light will ground through the mounting studs of these bases.

There's no reason you couldn't, this bracket is designed for trailers that ground through the mounting hardware though. If that wouldn't work on your trailer you would just need to run a wire from the mounting screw that runs through the ground strap and the light would work just fine.
