Hinged door with twist latch closure on each end. Mounting brackets and screws included.Super easy to install. The midsection supports won’t work if your RV has no longitudinal beams. Mine does not so I used a horizontal cross member to secure the two metal bands. I predrilled one hole in each band and secured them to the trailer with just one screw. I then slid the tube through the two center bands and attached the two end brackets to the trailer. I then tightened the two center bands to the tube. 30 minute install!
This hose carrier is ideal for storing the dreaded, icky sewer hose. Instead of storing hoses inside a tub or storage bin, these can be mounted underneath the RV
I bought this particular unit because it was expandable, the ends were rotatable, and it would accommodate a 15' hose with fittings. Unit came with 3 additional mounting brackets--2 with hose clamps & 1 glue on type as well as the screws needed for mounting the brackets. My particular installation required 1 end to be mounted on a horizontal surface, the other end to be mounted on a vertical surface and a third bracket to be placed in a horizontal position as determined by the coach manufacturer. So I crawled under the coach determined where I would mount the unit, drilled 5 holes and attached it. Easy Peasy.
I really like this carrier, keeps the hose out of the other storage compartments and allows it to get ventilation to dry. Overall this is a less yucky storage solution for sewer hose.
Bought 2 of these. One came with a broken hinge. The young lady at Etrailer was very helpful in finding the right part. Etrailer sent it to me at no cost. etrailer gets 5 stars. Unfortunately, the product 4 stars. It works as expected, but the hinges and door latches could have been built more robustly. Not sure they will withstand much wear and tear on the road. I did use a 1x1 inch square metal spacer to clear a propane pipe. Looks great.
the controller has great reviews, I got it because my factory controller wasn't working well with the new camper that has electric/hydraulic brakes and I was experiencing a 5 second lag for the trailer brakes to come on. this controller works better with a 2 to 3 second lag, need to try a couple different combos on settings, have the boost at 3 (per recommendations) and gain at 2.5 and under hard braking it locks up the trailer tires. going to try boost on 2 and bump up the gain and see if that works better.
Overall I am really satisfied with the valterra rv sewer hose storage units I purchased both are able to hold the hose’s I have and free up room in my storage compartment the only thing I wish was better was the cheap lanyard that goes between the cover and the tube those break pretty easily but again I would buy them again
This sewer hose storage works great. I didn’t have to use the included center support as my frame rails were only 71 inches apart so the inner and outer tubes had plenty of overlap. The twist lock ends snap closed and seem like they will hold up. I put my 15 ft Rhinoflex hose in it with the clear 90 deg attached and it fit fine.
I needed someway to store the sewer hoses in my new RV. This carrier is exactly what I required.
Just what I wanted. Installed in minutes. Came with plated fasteners, which I plan to replace with stainless, when I get a chance, but I am more ocd than Monk. :) Holds my heavy duty hose with ends attached. Aesthetically pleasing, and quality seems excellent.
The shipping was excellent. The self drilling/self taping screws worked flawlessly and were a breeze to install. I chose to install the holder on the outside bars that my trailer has rather than to the frame.

This solved my hose storage problem, was a good price, stores a viper 15 ft hose, easy to install, and was shipped very quickly!
Package arrived in good condition. I really like the staff at etrailer, shipments crossing boarder can take a little time but the folks at etrailer are very good at providing status and updates when requested. I have ordered a few items from etrailer and service has always exceeded expectations. The actual sewer hose carrier appears to be exactly as described and is good quality. Looking forward to getting it installed and in-service for our trip next week.

A year latter and sewer hose has been perfect no problems - working perfectly.
I ordered two Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carriers with the intention of using one for sewer hose, and the other for two fishing polls. The quality of these carriers is excellent and I am very pleased with them. They are designed to mount directly to the frame of the trailer, however, I made brackets so they could extend out closer to the side of the trailer for easier access. I highly recommend both these carriers and etrailer, who always come through.

I purchased two of these tubes and use one for sewer hoses and one for fishing poles. Weve traveled well over 10,000 miles with them and through some pretty rough country. They have worked very well, no issues at all. I recommend.
First of all, etrailer's customer service is excellent. The Valterra Hose Carrier was backordered, and etrailer kept me informed all along the way. As for the product, it's a giant piece of plastic with marginal quality, and cheaply constructed end-caps. Will it do the job, yes. Would I recommend spending $xx.xx bucks for this, no. It's just another example of the poor quality that's passed off to customers in the RV industry. Valterra makes some good products, but this isn't one of them.

After one year the hose carrier is still working fine. The end cap is a little tedious to reinstall but it works as expected.
The RV sewer hose carrier works perfectly. As always dealing with etrailer was easy and professional. My go to site when in need of something for my trailer!! Awesome customer service!

Always good fast service. This one was delayed a little by the manufacturer, NOT etrailer. This product will be used for our WiFi portable antenna in our RV and the supporting poles. We have another for our fishing pulls. These hose carriers are awesome, many uses for them NOT just sewer hoses.

Great, I use 2 of them. 1 for Flag Pole and WiFi antenna and 1 for a folding ladder.
Item was shipped out quickly. Pretty easy to install. Will be nice to use this for storing our sewer hoses rather than having to have them somewhere in our cargo compartments.
Is as advertised.
Mounted on a Winnebago View to add more appropriate waste line storage. Works great! Required a bit of jury rigging to mount for our location, but is stable & quite functional. Hardly noticeable when water/electric door is closed & if were using for something more valuable, like rods, it would only be accessible when both side storage compartment doors were open.

Its still terrific!
We had this product on a previous camper and when we purchased a new camper, the hose carrier was too small for the end piece on the sewer hose to fit. We ordered this replacement and mounted it on the back bumper between the step ladder and the top of the bumper. It is perfect for the hose and in a perfect location.
While traveling the interstate,another car hit a traffic cone and it ended up in my lane. With no time to avoid it,I ran it over and shortly after pulled ovwr to check for damage to the truck undercarriage or the undercarriage of the fifth wheel I was towing. This is when I discovered the sewer hose carrier had been torn off.
Ordered this product from etrailer.com. Upon receipt, I installed myself in about five minutes. Have experienced no problems since.
Have a toy hauler with two baths and came with a single short hose carrier. I replaced it with two of these and it works perfectly for carrying two 20' sets of Rhino flex sewer hoses

Adding additional sewer hose supports was one of the best things added to my trailer. The hoses are easy in & out with never a smell or mess.
