You're worried about your truck camper getting wet and dirty in storage before your next camping trip. Whether you're storing your camper in the rainy northwest, snowy north, or humid south, this weather-resistant cover is designed for use in extremely wet climates so your camper will be protected. When you keep your camper covered during the winter, you are less likely to need to wash and wax it in between trips. And if you want to trade your camper in for a newer model later down the road, this cover will help maintain that resale value.

Adco AquaShed Material

The 3-ply SFS AquaShed top panel reduces moisture buildup that can damage your camper over time. It also beads water when it rains to stop it from pooling or freezing, which eliminate the black streaks and corrosion you tend to see on the sides and roof of your camper. And when the rain stops, the fabric dries quickly to minimize the development of mold and mildew. The top panel blocks the roof of your camper from mild sunlight as well, protecting the cover from cracking and fading.

How to Measure Your Truck Camper

Measuring Your Truck Camper

To determine if this cover will work for you, measure the overall length of your camper from the front to the rear bumper, making sure you're accounting for any spare tire carriers and ladders on the back. Then measure the overall height from the bottom of the camper to the top. Do not include any AC units, vents, or antennas in your height measurement, as the cover is already designed to accommodate them.

Securing the Cover onto Your Camper

Adco AquaShed Cover Straps

The included ladder cap helps prevent the cover from splitting on that area of the camper so install it first. Then unroll the cover and carefully spread it evenly around your camper, making sure you don't pull too hard and tear the fabric. Wrap the elasticized hem around the bottom corners of your camper and pull on the cinch ropes on the front and rear of the cover. These remove any excess slack in the material, especially if your camper is slightly shorter in length. Then toss the weighted straps underneath your camper to the other side and buckle them together, which keep the cover secure on your camper and prevents it from flapping in the wind and damaging the paint job.

Adco AquaShed Cover Zippered Access Door

And if you need to grab supplies, you can use the zippered panel on the back to easily access the interior of your camper without having to completely remove the cover.

This cover looks great on my camper. Waterproof and sun protection will keep the value up on my camper. Very happy with this camper cover.

by:

The fit and fabric are high quality. It is absolutely waterproof. I love the cinch down straps and buckles. Make sure you pad the corners on top so the cover dont get a hole on those sharp corners. I just wish Adco would make one for Palomino backpack campers. I have the recommended one (by etrailer) for my ss550 and its pretty big on it. It works though once it is cinched down.

Not well. The cover only lasted 7.5 months, The cover ripped completely off my camper from front to back. The rip was in the top panel. Not impressed at all with durability. Went with empire covers. Their products half the price and more durable. Sorry and thanks.

by:

The camper cover has been awesome, it has helped protect it from the intense Colorado sun! We have not had any problems with it

by:

Time will tell. We will see how it holds up to the wind and snow this winter. A little bigger than we needed, but fits well enough for our lance 650 truck camper.

This cover held up through the wind and snow, it is perfect and in great shape, no issues with rips, tears or leaks. We do remove large accumulation of snow on top of cover with shop broom. Recommend product for others to purchase. You wont be disappointed.

by:

Good price very good quality and it was fast to order and I got it on time

by:

Haven't installed yet,but customer service was excellent with help choosing the right size rv cover.

by:

We just put it on, so can't speak for how it will hold up. It was nice and light, and very easy to put on. We got the 16' one and it fits great on our Bigfoot 9-6.

by:

This was to big for my Pop up camper. The wind took it apart.

works well

Without a doubt the best cover I've found for my e-Pro f19 travel trailer. It fits like a custom cover and the price was extremely reasonable. Best features: Four snug-fit corners (just like bed sheets); at least seven (?) tightening straps underneath the unit which means you can safely tighten and secure against brisk winds; two flaps/straps across both the front and back of trailer, again securing against wind. And the smallest pieces are my favorite ... two weighted straps that help you toss each of the straps underneath to the other side! Brilliant! You will see a "bump" along the back end of the RV and that's where the ladder is covered. The roof covering fits well but with enough room to accommodate the ladder, a/c, bathroom vent, and antennae. I've told my camping friend about this cover and this web site. I check here first when I need anything for my RV. Thank you!

by:

After the money we spent on your trailer cover, thought it would if lasted longer than one year? Disappointed to say the least, learn from experience we guess.

by:

Real easy to put on trailer. The cover does a great job of keeping debris off the camper and looks brand new still after 1 full year.

by:

We ordered this cover awhile back and just put in on our Motorhome
for the winter. It was quite easy to put on and it looks like it good quality
and hope it does its job. We will know in the spring.

by:

Very well made easy to put on the truck. Fits great on my GMC Sierra 2500hd crew cab .

by:

After one year it has not held up at all. It falls apart in your hands. There are many holes from the wind and the sun has made it dry rotted. We were able to take it on and off twice and there would be one way to put it back on for a third time without it all just falling apart. To be fair we do live in the panhandle of Florida and do get a lot of sun and rain. We even put pool noodles around the rain gutters to try and prevent it cutting through the camper cover material, but after a while that’s exactly where the rips started from.

by:

I've had my trailer cover for over a year now. Put it on the trailer for the second time in November, 2022. I noticed a couple of wear spots last spring when I took it off the trailer, and again didn't do anything about it until putting it back on the trailer. I bought some waterproof tape just to cover those spots. I love the way it fits my trailer, covering even the front hitch area. Very pleased with this purchase.

by:

Just installed it a few days ago as we are leaving our popup in NC for a month. Easy install, good fit, and good straps. The extra tiedowns on the corners make it very secure. I may update review once used for a while.

by:

In the beginning, I was excited about the purchase. I knew the cover would keep my new trailer protected from the sun, etc. However, less than 3 months ago I noticed the material started to shed and become thinner on the roof. 2 months ago I noticed a small tear in front near the roof (no sharp edges there). Unfortunately the tear just got bigger and more disintegration of the roof. We took it off in preparing for the hurricane that came and in that process more of it just fell apart.
I am disappointed that the product only lasted a year. Now I need to figure out what to do to get a replacement. I prefer not to buy from your company knowing that the cover might only last a year.

by:

I love this cover easy to install and remove. It did rip on the first install and I do wish it was a little more robust. It keeps the water out durning rain and let's the trailer breathe. I do wish the cover had labels letting you know which end is front and which ends is rear. Only time will tell how long the cover will last with 3 rips in the Mojave desert wind.

by:

Initially I was very satisfied with the cover. After 1 year there were some tears from the material flapping against the trailer body on the bottom edges. The 2 year anniversary just passed earlier this month (Oct 2023). This past weekend (Oct 22 2023) we had some mild winds, 15 - 20 mph. I noticed a tear had opened over the air vent (white plastic cover) in the dressing room area of the trailer. Later that morning, the entire cover roof ripped apart. See attached photos. I discovered that the trailer cover only has a two year warranty. I will start to look for another trailer cover manufacturer who uses better materials. Very disappointing.

by:

My husband just put the cover on, the trailer is in a tight spot, with little room to work with. He said, it was the easiest cover to put on our 2020 Geo-Pro 18'.It fit like a glove and since we get a lot of wind he loved the amount of straps that were easy to access. It has a wide zipper area on the side to access the door. He was pleased with the quality of the material and with the price.

  • Recommended Cover for 2019 Palomino 550 SS Backpack Truck Camper
The closest-fitting cover for your 2019 Palomino 550 SS Backpack Truck Camper is the Adco SFS AquaShed Truck Camper Cover # 290-12262. This cover measures 192" long x 104" wide x 104" tall which is more than enough to fit over your A/C and vents and features straps that can help you tighten up any loose material around your camper. It is made with a durable SFS AquaShed fabric that will hold up well in moderate climates. It is designed to protect your camper from snow and rain, and guards...

The Adco SFS AquaShed Truck Camper Cover - 16' Long - Gray # 290-12262 has integrated cinching straps on the front and back to keep it nice and snug, so it will be the best one we currently have for your camper. We do technically have the Camco UltraGuard Slide-In Camper Cover - 16-1/2' Long # CAM45771 that will fit better, but the SFS AquaShed uses a more durable material and will hold up better in my opinion.

  • Recommended Truck Bed Camper Cover for Camper Stored on Truck for Winter Months
I'm not aware of any truckbed camper cover that also covers the truck, but you may be able to get away with some sort of generic camper cover for a Class B motorhome. I recommend taking a look at the Classic Accessories Deluxe PolyPro III Heavy-Duty Cover for Class B RVs # CA80103. This won't be a perfect fit, but it would likely do a good job and will fit RVs up to 20 feet long. This cover has adjustable ropes and front/rear panels with an elastic hem to provide a secure fit and will help...

  • Recommended Cover for a Northstar 850SC Truck Bed Camper
The overall exterior dimensions of a Northstar 850SC Pop-Up Camper are 15' long x 7' wide x 5'6" tall (closed). Therefore, the Adco SFS AquaShed Truck Camper Cover part # 290-12262 would be a great fit. This cover is a bit larger than the size of the camper but the next size down is too small. That said, the cinching system will make for a snug fit. These aren't custom covers so there will always be some extra material but custom covers are very expensive and usually offer little benefits...

  • How To Measure For A Truck Bed Camper RV Storage Cover
The wording for truck bed campers is a bit confusing so I reached out to ADCO to clarify how exactly to measure and find the correct cover. The Adco SFS AquaShed RV Cover # 290-12262 lists that it's designed to 8' - 10' lengths but doesn't clarify that this measurement is only for the body of the camper and not actually including the nose/overhang. That's why when you look at the dimensions it lists 16' in length. They make it much more complicated than it needs to be to determine the correct...

For your application I recommend going with the Adco SFS AquaShed Cover # 290-12262. This measures 192" long x 104" wide x 104" tall so it will fit your camper and it has straps and buckles on the bottom to secure it to your camper. This cover is built to withstand climates with high moisture so it will work well during the winter months with snow. I do recommend using the Mini Dehumidifier # CAM44195 as well though to keep the inside of your camper smelling fresh!

  • Does The Camco UltraGuard Slide In Camper Cover Have A Door Access Point.
Thanks for reaching out about this product. The Camco UltraGuard Slide-In Camper Cover - 16-1/2' Long # CAM45771 does have integrated zippers to help you access your truck camper. However they are on the corners and, to me, seem to be more of a hassle. I would recommend the Adco SFS AquaShed Truck Camper Cover - 16' Long - Gray # 290-12262.
