Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. Great for your truck's looks: remove the arms from the brackets and you'll hardly know that the brackets are there.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. They are very sturdy and I expect them to last.
2020 RAM 3500 with OEM hitch.
Easy install and just a great product. Install took 90 minutes for front and rear mounts.
My brother installed these and he used air tools. The brackets fit perfectly. The instructions were thorough. They bolted right in and the only delay was the disconnect/reconnect of the e-brake cable to install the driver's side bracket (2019 RAM 3500). After all the parts were laid out, he installed all 4 brackets in an hour.
He commented many times on the weight, high quality and PERFECT FIT of these brackets. These are worth the price and made in the USA.
Product was easy enough to install, works as designed, very happy. Shipping boxes continue to be an issue, not up to the job!
These are a must with a slide in. I would not do it any other way. This with a set of fastguns and you're all set.
These were easy to install, a bit challenging on drivers side due to e-brake cable, but very straight forward. My only complaint is there was quite a few large scratches. Great product!!
The torklift tie down system is a must. I’ve had them on my GMC Denali the make loading and securing my lance camper a breeze. I just ordered a new set because I recently purchased a new ram truck and the old bracket wouldn’t fit. Not sure how it could be done with out your products.
These do look to be of good quality and finish. That said, the packaging it was shipped had almost no paper to hold the items in place so the black finish had many large gouges in it. Then when installed the middle bolt snapped off inside the frame of my truck while torquing to 75lbs. I was using a torque wrench set at 75lbs. After finishing the installation I check fit and clearance. These were supposed to work with my truck configuration according to etrailer website, however they do clear the factory running boards.
THESE TORKLIFT CAMPER TIEDOWNS ARE AMAZING ! MY CAMPER HAS NOT SHIFTED NOR HAVE THESE BRACKETS SHOWN ANY FATIGUE . I RECOMMAND GETTING THESE !
We previously bought a truck camper and older truck with tie downs. A year ago we decided to upgrade to a new truck which of course meant buying and installing new TorkLift tiedowns. After some hand wringing I made the appropriate purchase and took the next step of installing them. I did feel reassured that the product was set up for our specific truck. Although I do some work on the camper and all I am not a mechanic so I will say this product was a cinch to install.
Feel strong and solid with the camper but already seeing some rust in places. Wish the aluminum had been in stock.
Instruction regarding removing brake cable were not real helpful. The e brake adjustment bolt that the instructions say to loosen is in a bracket that does not allow you to get a wrench on it, you need a 1/2” socket that’s about 4” deep. I ended up putting a socket over it and then turned it with vise grips( not ideal). The instructions also say to pry open the tabs on the e brake coupler
but nothing needed done with tabs I had to get a small punch and drive the loose end of the cable out of the coupler as it’s extremely tight in the coupler.
After finally getting the e brake cables out of the way the rest of the install went ok. I’m a bit disappointed in the fit as the Tie down inserts come into contact with the very end of the truck running boards and have to be tapped in scuffing the end cap on the factory running boards. A little fine tuning needs to be done to make these everything they say they are. 2022 Ram 2500
I installed these on my 2022 Ram 3500 SRW over a year ago for use with a Northern Lite 9-6 camper. Excellent instructions, installation was easy with simple tools, fit and finish is very good and they perform exactly as required. Definitely recommend!
Very disappointed with the delivery company. They left my delivery on a busy street behind our mail box,any one else that delivers Always brings it back to our house.Anything of importance is always brought to our house or we have PO Boxes that mail goes to.
I verify that TLD2140 fits the 2024 Ram 3500 Crew Cab 8 ft Bed. It involves some patience and an extra person helping is almost a must have. The directions were very well written. Take your time and have patience when removing the parking brake cables. Yes, you must have a torque wrench.
Very fast efficient delivery. well thought out design. easily installed by an amateur. Following the very precise instructions if you don’t mind laying on your back and looking up hill for about an hour!
Torklift makes a very high quality product. Extremely strong construction.
I verify that TLD3112 fit the 2024 Ram 3500 8 ft bed with class 5 hitch. Good instructions, very easy installation. Remember to have a torque wrench handy to finish up.
This fit perfect for amp research power running boards. Amy h was awesome in making it happen. Will definitely use this company again.
Delivered quickly and product was as stated in description.
Couldn’t camp without this product. Absolutely fits perfect and easy to install. Thank you etrailer!!
I wasn't planning on purchasing a new set of Tie-Downs, but having my truck totaled by a careless driver, changed that plan.
Bought the front and rears to install on my new 2021 Ram 2500. Installation was a snap, literally under an hour for the set of four. Using them to secure my Lance 650, they have worked as excellently as the previous set did (may they rest in peace).
as usual, etrailer's sales and service were top shelf.
Good fit to my vehicle.
Product is great,,,,instructions suck. How much trouble would it be to do a couple more illustrations.
Your hardware instructions were fine,,,,,Just the re-routing emergency brake cable was beyond bad.
(perhaps a video?)
Fit perfectly and fast shipping !
