The roof rack that I recommend using on your 2015 Hyundai Sonata with the panoramic roof is the Yakima JetStream roof rack. This consists of the 60" JetStream Bars # Y00426, along with the BaseLine Towers # Y28TR, and the BaseClip Fit Kits # Y06137 and # Y06127. If you would like to add locks to this then you also need part # Y07204.
I spoke with my contact at Yakima and he said that right at where the roof rack bars sit you will have about 4" - 4-1/2" and then in the middle of the roof... view full answer...
There was a generation change between the 2017 and the 2021 Hyundai Sonata so you'd need a new hitch fit like the Draw Tite part # DT74MR for your 21' model. view full answer...
For carrying a Class I bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider # HR200Z with your 2021 Hyundai Sonata the Draw Tite part # DT74MR would be a great option. It installs easily, is priced great, and has more than enough capacity for your bike rack and two bikes. view full answer...
For your 2019 Hyundai Sonata the Draw Tite hitch part # 24965 is the better option for carrying a bike rack like our very popular Hollywood Racks Trail Rider # HR200Z mainly because it isn't as recessed under the vehicle as far as the Curt # C11402. This will make it easier to fit a bike rack without interference between the rear bumper and the upright portion of the bike rack. Also the Draw Tite is listed as having a shorter install time too. view full answer...

What determines if a hitch ball fits a ball mount is the size of the shank that goes through the ball mount.
You'll need to remove your current hitch ball to measure this hole and then find the correct hitch ball below:
5/8" hole # C40097
3/4" hole # 19258
1" hole # 63845
Keep in mind you still need to stay underneath the capacity stamped on your ball mount no matter what size ball you put on. view full answer...
The best trailer hitch for the 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid non-plug-in is the Draw-Tite part # 24965.
For trailer wiring the custom fit Hopkins Harness part # HM11143874 would be the best option as well.
You will need the recommended ball mount. You would most likely use a hitch ball with a 1-7/8 inch diameter, like part # 19256 or the 2 inch hitch ball # 19258. view full answer...
Honestly I do not recommend the Thule OutWay # TH65JV just because of the weight and damage it has caused other vehicles. Especially on a brand new vehicle such as your 2013 Hyundai Sonata.
Thule makes excellent racks, but this one was not executed well. Some people have used this rack without problems but I never feel safe recommending it just because of that risk.
For a much better Thule trunk mounted bike rack that will work on both vehicles and work very well check out the Thule OutWay... view full answer...
I checked with Curt and the 2015 Hyundai Sonata takes a different trailer hitch than the 2011 models. If you want to stick with the Curt brand the hitch for the 2015 model is # C11402.
If you are using the hitch for towing both vehicles/hitches do use the same ball mount, # C45521, as well as 1-7/8 inch ball # 19256 and 2 inch ball # 19258. For trailer wiring, if your 2015 is NOT a hybrid use # C56247. If it is a hybrid use # HM11143874.
If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such... view full answer...
The only way you can carry a 45 lb bike with your 2015 Hyundai Sonata is to use a hitch mounted bike rack since all of our trunk racks can't accommodate a bike that weighs that much.
You would need to have a hitch installed like the Draw Tite part # 24965 and then you could use the T2 bike rack part # TH9045 which has the capacity for your bike and would work well. This is one of the nicest bike racks on the market and one of the few with the needed capacity. view full answer...
If your Sonata does NOT have the glass roof, I'd recommend the reasonably priced Rhino Rack Euro Crossbar rack, which would be constructed of the following:
Rhino Rack 2500 Series Aero Crossbar, part # RRVA126B-2
Leg Kit, part # RRRLKVA
Vehicle specific clamp kit, part # DK250
If you do have the glass or panoramic roof, the Rhino Rack roof system is not recommended. In that case, the Inno roof rack, part # INXB108-2, # INXS200, and # INK604 would be compatible.

I have an alternate solution for you that will work well, but there are only Class I trailer hitches available for your 2015 Hyundai Sonata. So to carry three bikes at the rear of your vehicle your best option is a 3-bike trunk mounted bike rack like the Yakima Fullback 3 part # Y02633 which is a confirmed fit and will work well to carry three bikes. I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.

For your 2017 Specialized Shiv I would recommend going with a platform bike rack that only touches the bike at the tires so as to protect what appears to be a delicate frame material and paint job on the bike.
I really like the Saris SuperClamp EX part # SA4025F. This is a lightweight platform rack (which is normally an unheard of combo). That means it'll be easy to install and remove from your vehicle since it's light, but also it'll be very easy to load bikes on since it's a platform... view full answer...
Actually we have spoken to our roof rack manufacturers before about this issue and they confirmed that their naked roof fits also work on the vehicles with glass roofs.
The Thule Aeroblade roof rack part numbers # TH711420, # TH480R, and # THKIT1577 has been confirmed as a fit and would work well. view full answer...
I checked with Thule, and both the Thule SquareBar Roof Rack # TH712400, # TH480R, #THKIT1577 and the Thule WingBar Roof Rack # TH711400 in silver or # TH711420 in black, #TH480R, #THKIT1577 are fits for your 2013 Hyundai Sonata's glass panoramic roof.
Between these two racks, I prefer the WingBars. I have a version of them on my vehicle right now and they are very quiet. I often forget that they are there because I can't hear them on my vehicle.
The J-Style Kayak Carrier that you referenced... view full answer...
For stuff like lumber from a home center type store I would recommend the Rhino Rack HD roof rack part numbers # RB1250, # RRRLKHD, and # DK250 as it is confirmed as a fit and has large square bars that are great for what you are looking for. For load stops you would then want the pat # RRRLH1. Then for cinch straps part # RRRTD35P.
This rack has a capacity of 110 lbs but you would also need to check the roof capacity of your vehicle in the owners manual. view full answer...
For a trailer hitch that is confirmed as a fit for your 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid we have the Draw Tite hitch part # 24965 which is a confirmed fit. I attached an install video that shows what the process for the install will entail which will be the exact same basically for your hybrid model. We haven't had a chance to install this hitch on a Hybrid version of your vehicle yet.
The reason I recommended this hitch over the Curt # C11402 is because the Curt requires a stabilizer strap... view full answer...
The design of your 2015 Hyundai Sonata does not lend itself to trunk-mount type bike racks. In fact both Thule and Yakima do not recommend any of their trunk racks for your Sonata. So, your best option is to install a Class I hitch and use a hitch-mount bike rack. However, note that a Class I hitch can handle the weight of only 2 bikes.
The hitch I recommend for your Sonata is the Draw-Tite # 24965 because it installs without drilling and includes all the required hardware to bolt it on.

For a set of magnetic tow bar lights the best option is the Hopkins kit # C6304. These have been reviewed highly by our customers so we know the magnet is strong and the light is very visible.

Hitch bike racks will work just fine with your 2011 Hyundai Sonata, but I should note that because the only hitches available for your vehicle are Class I-rated, you will be limited to carrying a maximum of two bikes on a hitch-mounted rack. The Swagman XC, # S64650, is a 2-bike hitch-mounted, platform-style rack that will carry a pair of bikes with a weight capacity of 35 lbs per bike. It has adjustable hooks as well as sliding wheel hoops that enable it to haul bikes of various sizes.

The Saris Solo 1 Bike Carrier - Fixed Arms - Trunk Mount # SA102 is not a fit for your 2009 Hyundai Sonata. For a compatible rack for your vehicle, I recommend the similar Saris Bones 2 Bike Carrier - Adjustable Arms - Trunk Mount - Black # SA805BL which is a confirmed fit. The lower legs will rest on your bumper for a proper fit on your vehicle.
To secure the rack to your Sonata, I recommend the Trunk strap # TH533 and then the cable lock # SA981 to secure your bike(s). If you have... view full answer...
