Although this battery is designed to install on the side of the frame on your trailer, it should still work properly if you install it on the bottom of your tool box. The battery is completely sealed so you will not have to worry about the internal chemicals leaking out. Something to keep in mind is that the box might see some extra wear and tear if you are installing under your tool box instead of on the side of the frame. view full answer...
There are quite a few options when it comes to tool boxes for an A-frame trailer, and it will come down to how much room you have to work with, and what material you want the tool box made out of.
The RC Manufacturing T-Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box - A-Frame - Steel - 5.2 Cu Ft - Black # 313-TM362016M you were looking at is 36" long x 20" tall x 16" wide and is made of powder coated steel. If this size fits your frame this would be a great option.
I went ahead and included a link to... view full answer...
The UWS A-Frame Trailer Toolbox - Low Profile - 2.9 cu ft - Gloss Black # UWS04531 is currently the shortest A-frame tool box we offer at 13" tall, and since we are not the manufacturer of the tool box we are not able to make them any shorter. view full answer...
The RC Manufacturing T-Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box part # 350980 has a black powder coated finish. Powder coated finishes are usually not as smooth as painted finishes. They are however much more durable than paint. If the tool box was painted it would chip easily and reveal the metal underneath which would eventually rust. view full answer...
There sure is!
The RC Manufacturing T-Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box - A-Frame - Aluminum - 2.6 Cu Ft in Silver # 350970 or Black # 350980 will fit in perfectly in your Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 300 lbs # CC-255.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at. view full answer...
A slider hitch would be a solution to allow your trailer to have the needed clearance to fit around your tool box.
If I were in the market for a slider hitch I would easily pick the Demco Hijacker Autoslide part # DM8550034. This hitch will automatically slide back as you make tight turns to allow you the turning clearance you need.
This hitch will slide back 14 inches so you might measure to make sure that would be enough clearance. view full answer...
I am sure there would be a way to mount a fenderwell tool box like the part # DZ95 to the side of your trailer. The install brackets of the box are designed to mount the box to the side of the bedrail so I am sure you could find a way to secure them to the side of your trailer. view full answer...
With the 6-1/2 foot bed on your 2004 Ford Super Duty you can use a slider hitch for your fifth-wheel installation. The hitch you need, see link, will depend on the gross weight of the trailer you will be pulling. You will also need to allow for gear, water and accessories that will be stored in the trailer.
The install kit will be the same for any of the hitches you choose and that part number is # RP50082-58.
I have not seen a fifth-wheel application that will allow for maneuvering... view full answer...
With the Ultimate Trailer Jack # 322-RDJ-2K you can mount the mounting flange with the adjustment handle so that it points to the side instead of to the rear if needed. So if you have a toolbox that would interfere with it facing towards the rear of the trailer you can spin it to face the side. view full answer...
We have a lower profile a-frame trailer tool boxes like with the UWS A-Frame Trailer Toolbox part # UWS04531 which is 13 inches tall. Front to back measure 16 inches and the width at front is 20 inches. The construction is aluminum like you are wanting as well.
I attached a dimensional drawing of the box for you to check out as well. view full answer...
Sounds like you are looking for the DeeZee Specialty Series Trailer Tongue Toolbox # DZ91717. This is an aluminum, a-frame trailer tool box with dimensions of 34" long (back) x 20-3/4" long (front) x 19" wide x 22-3/4" tall.
Or we have the white plastic propane tank cover part # CAM40532 which will fit 2 30 lb bottles. view full answer...
The Replacement Compression Latch for RC Manufacturing Underbody Truck or Trailer Tool Box part # 313-8-325-281 would appear to be the best replacement option for your tool box handle based on the photos. The handle measures 5-1/2" wide and 6" tall which you can see in the attached photo. It's expected that there may be some slight modifications required for fitment but this is pretty much going to be unavoidable as there isn't any sort of record for this to obtain an exact replacement. view full answer...
For your 2015 Ram 2500 with the 6 ft bed and factory tool boxes, there is a limit to what you can do with 5th Wheel Hitches. The Rambox doesn't allow enough clearance for a regular sliding 5th wheel hitch and Pin Box, so what is recommended is to use a non-sliding hitch and a Reese Sidewinder which is a replacement for your 5th Wheel Trailer Pin Box. The Reese Sidewinder, like # RP61412 is pin box specific, and moves the pivot point of your trailer box 22 inches with the rotating turret.... view full answer...
The lock cores of the UWS tool boxes are all the same. If the UWS tool box you have takes a 508 key the part # KEYCH508 that you referenced would fit and work well. view full answer...
If the top of your tool box is lower than the bed rails of your 2019 Ford F-150 the Swagman Pick-Up Truck-Bed-Mounted 2 Bike Carrier # S64702 would fit easily.
Worst case scenario the rack would fit behind the tool box like in the picture I attached. view full answer...
Your best bet would be an underbody tool box like the part # UB1818-48 if you can find a place to put it on your trailer to allow you to store your jack and wheel wrench. While this is intended to be installed on the underside of your trailer you could also install it elsewhere if you have the room for it. It measures 48" (long) x 18" (tall) x 18" (deep). view full answer...
The Buyers Products Truck Bed Ladder Rack # 3371501680 can fit trucks with tool boxes but if the tool box goes over the tops of the bed rails the front upright would have to install behind the box. If it's a chest style though it should fit around the box without issue. view full answer...
Adding the 1 inch measurement will apply to the outside dimensions of the Truck Bed Chest, # DZ8546B. But since the lid overlaps the box, that 1 inch measurement will not be added to the bottom of the box, just where the lid is.
It will add some height to the top of the box with the lid factored in. I would say that the 1 inch measurement is the maximum which would make it 17 inches tall. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at DeeZee about your 2002 Ford Ranger with the flareside. Although we do not offer a crossover tool box that would fit we do have an alternative for you.
I recommend the DeeZee Red Label Truck Bed Toolbox, part # DZ8537. This Brite-Tread aluminum tool box with a silver finish measures 37-1/8 inches long x 19 inches wide x 15-9/10 inches tall, and mounts to the floor of your pickup. If you choose not to mount the tool box to the bed of the truck, it has handles... view full answer...
