The spark was most likely an indication of a short circuit that has blown the running light circuit which is why none of the running lights are working. You mentioned the fuses on the truck but if the tent camper is plugged into the truck then there can be separate tow package fuses that you will need to check. Other than flipping your axles, the only way to change the ride height of your trailer is to change the hangers unless your trailer suspension is really bad and has been very overloaded. It sounds like you research things like axle capacity so I'd be shocked if your suspension was that bad without you being very aware. I honestly can't tell you. It sounds like the manufacturer just put two separate parts together. It is not normal to find this on the same axle but if you have a tandem axle that is more common. If it is on the same axle, as long as it is functional with the same hubs, you will just need to get the correct bearings for each spindle to make things continue to function properly. The # 322-RDJ-2K Ultimate Trailer Jack can be rotated in any direction as long as one of the holes is facing forward. So rotating the jack will not be a problem.
As for aligning the holes, I would not recommend modifying the jack in any way, since that can void its warranty. If you are having trouble mounting the jack to the trailer I recommend changing the mounting holes in the trailer so they match the holes on the jack.

As long as your vehicle is wired properly, Green right turn and stop, yellow left turn and stop, Brown running lights and White ground, then you will have to figure out how the trailer is wired. If the adapter you are talking about was purchased and not hard wired then it could be the 4-way flat to 6-way square adapter for a Jayco RV, and those adapters are wired differently than most other trailers with 6-way connectors and this could be why your lights are not functioning properly.

First thing you need to do is thoroughly clean the trailer connector on your tow vehicle and trailer. Next, what I would recommend you do is check the ground strap that runs from the trailer connector to the trailer frame. I would make sure that wire is also making good contact to an unpainted metal surface. If you can't get your lights to ground decently to the trailer frame you can also run them both back to the main ground wire I just mentioned.

That is a pretty bizarre trailer wear pattern that you have if it is only wearing on the outside of half of the tire. You will need to remove the hub to closely inspect the bearing, spindle, brake pads, etc...basically everything. I would be willing to bet that if someone was following behind your trailer on the highway this wheel would wobble quite a bit.
