Sounds like the bolt and nut may be rusted stuck. I recommend using the UltraLube Biobased Spray Lubricant and Penetrant. This spray lubricant can help penetrate between the bolt and nut to loosen up any dirt or rust that may be causing the nut to be stuck on the bolt.
Once you have sprayed the bolt and nut liberally with the lubricant, try using a long handle breaker bar or an impact wrench to help break loose the bolt and nut. view full answer...
Yes, the 1997 Jeep TJ will come with trailer wiring connectors located at each rear corner. The vehicles wiring harnesses are underneath the vehicle, behind a protective cover on each side of the vehicle. Temporarily remove each of the protective covers under the vehicle next to the rear bumper. There will be connection points matching the ends of the T-connector on the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118356, on both sides of the vehicle.
I am including a link to the installation... view full answer...
The input sides on the diodes of the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267 can be switched so that the left side is for the towed vehicle and the right side is for the motorhome or vice versa, it doesn't matter. If you can tell me more about the issue you are having with the kit I may be able to offer additional advice for you. Please note that any time there is a wiring issue the first thing you should check is your grounds and by this I really mean remove... view full answer...
The Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section for AC/DC Power Distribution Panel # PD4645V will only charge the batteries with shore power. You won't be able to charge your house battery from the engine. This is compatible with Parallax/Magnetek model 6345, WFCO model 8945, and Parallax models 7345 and 8345. The reason you're only getting 12V is because that is the voltage from your alternator. view full answer...
That's a valid question. I just got done conferring with my contact in Tech Services at Draw-Tite, and he confirmed that the second or rearward bumper bolt is indeed omitted. The front mounted receiver's mounting flange provides more than enough reinforcement that the middle bolt isn't necessary. The height difference between the top of the frame member and the top of the bumper beam requires that 3 stacked round washers be used under the hitch mounting flange and one block washer atop... view full answer...

I spoke to my contact at Blue Ox and he told me there was a couple of different steps you could take to correct the issue of the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR pushing against the front seat of your 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
He said that you can press the Patriot up against the seat pan under your front seat. This will keep your Patriot from hitting the manual seat adjustment bar and moving your seat backwards.

Front mounted hitch # 31408 should not interfere with the rubber bumper blocks on your 1999 Jeep TJ, as the hitch is installing directly to pre-existing holes in the vehicle frame. The hitch also sits above the bumper and frame rails for better clearance.
You can, however, check to make sure that the bumper blocks are out of the way and are not going interfere with the installation. The hitch mounting holes are going to be in line with the frame rails on either side, and the hitch sits... view full answer...
Yes, if you were to run the Derale Direct-Mount Remote Cooler Kit # D20561 as a standalone cooler by bypassing the factory cooler of your 1999 Jeep Wrangler you'd have more than adequate cooling capacity for the transmission fluid. This cooler is much more efficient than the one you have now and even has a fan built into it so you'll get great transmission fluid cooling even when the vehicle is moving slowly. view full answer...
The Trailblazer doesn't have a connector under the dash, the tow package wiring is four bare wires located under the dash. To access the wires, you'll need to unscrew the under dash panel and locate the wiring harness as shown in the video I linked.
To connect your Curt Venturer brake controller, you'd use the # C51515 and use butt connectors to attach to the tow package wires as shown in the video.
If your Trailblazer has the 7-way trailer connector, all you'll need to do is attach the... view full answer...
The Roadmaster BrakeMaster Braking System with BrakeAway for RVs with Hydraulic Brakes # RM-9060 does not require or benefit from vacuum assist. You could actually argue that it is more of a hindrance. That is because the vacuum assist requires that the vacuum be released for installation and every time the tow vehicle is started after that you will need to release the vacuum before towing.
I have included the instruction manual for the BrakeMaster 9060, it goes over the vacuum information... view full answer...
