In the trucks with the puck systems, the design by the manufacturers is for the puck system to carry the pin weight. The third cable you mentioned for the Truck Bed Cargo Camera # 3460010 will indeed plug in between the camera and module cables also included with the kit. The red and black leads are for the camera's power and ground. The module also includes extended leads for power and ground.

All the Rapid Hitch ball mounts we carry, like part # AM3461, are for 2 inch hitch receivers but we do have similar products. I recommend the Weigh Safe 180, part # LTB4-25. It does fit a 2-1/2 inch receiver and stil gives you 4 inches of drop or 5 inches of rise.

There are two ways to install the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs part # AL57538 on your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500, using the included u-bolts or drilling the brackets directly to the underside of the frame. It is recommended that the bottom edge of the nose on your 5th wheel is 6 inches above the bed rails. I typically set the hitch height in the middle initially.
