What is Lowest Hitch Height for B&W Companion in 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 With Factory Prep Package

2018 sierra 3500 - Its there any way to lower the hitch height more than 16 3/4 or is the lowest this unit will go?

The 16-3/4 inch hitch height is the lowest the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3700 will go in your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 with the factory prep package.

The Companion is a great hitch but there are other high-quality fifth wheel options if you need one with a lower height setting; for that I strongly recommend the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30890 which has hitch height settings that are adjustable from between 14 inches and 20 inches.

The M5 # RP30890 will also fit directly in your Sierra's factory puck system and uses a single-piece jaw that latches onto your king pin, ensuring complete contact and minimizing the amount of rattling. I have added a photo of this jaw piece for you to check out.
