  • Can the Curt E16 Be Coupled While Slid Back Away From the Cab
  • Although it is not ideal, you can couple your trailer to the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider part # C16515-16020 while slid back away from the cab. If you are just referring to the pin box portion of the trailer then you can use the Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate part # VG-15-4000 to give you more clearance and this is what I recommend if you only have 2" with the hitch slide up towards the cab

  • Can Bakflip G2 Tonneau Cover Install with Truck Bed Liner
  • Bed liners are not an issue at all for the BakFlip G2 tonneau covers like the part # BAK26310 that you referenced. As long as the lip of the bed rails of the truck are accessible like what you see in the picture I attached the cover will install easily. If your bed liner comes up to the bed rails you might have to trim back the liner as needed but in general bed liners rarely are an issue with tonneaus like this. I attached an install video for this cover for you to check out as well.

  • Can Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock be Wired To Work With Passenger Side Locks On 2016 Ford F-250
  • You can install the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock, part # PAL8250 so that it operates with the passenger side door locks. When running the wires for the lock, you can run them on the driver side and attach to the wires beneath the step plate so that the tail gate unlocks with the driver side door lock. Since you said you want to have it unlock with the passenger side locks, you would run the wiring down the passenger side. If the truck has 2 doors or access cab then the wire will...

  • Will Curt Front Mount Hitch Reduce Ground Clearance on 2019 Ford F-250
  • The 2" receiver on the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31078 is going to sit right under the front bumper of your 2019 Ford F-250, so while there will be a slight reduction in ground clearance, it's only going to be by a portion of the receiver height. I have attached a couple images of this installed just so you can see how tight it is against the bottom of the bumper. One of the benefit of Curt front hitches in particular is that Curt actually works with snow plow manufacturers...

  • The WeatherTech Mud Flaps # WT110065-120065 that you referenced will hold up just fine on your 2019 Ford F-250 in an automatic car wash. I spoke to my contact at WeatherTech who confirmed this. Attached is an installation video and a photo showing these installed on a 2017 F-250 for you to reference.

  • Can I Lower The 16K Reese 5th Wheel Head As Low As It Goes With Replacement Leg Kit Installed?
  • I reached out to Cequent Tech Support who makes Reese Hitches to ask about your specific issue. We think we have a solution for you based on fitment. If you have the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs, # RP30051, then you have the right replacement legs with the # RP30727, and you will be able to adjust the hitch completely without issue. However, if you have the Reese Titan 16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Round Tube Slider - Serrated Dual Jaw -...

  • The Blue Ox Bolt-On Base Plate Bracket Kit # BX88230 will work with your Blue Ox BX7330 that has a 10k capacity since the lugs are the same size but you will need to stay under the 5k weight rating.

  • Will Adding Chains to Titan HItch Box Extension Make it a Weight Distribution System
  • The chains you typically see with the Titan Hitch Box Extension for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches, 41" - 48" Long # RP45018 are safety chains. Although it is compatible with a weight distribution hitch, this is nothing more than an extension of the hitch on the back of your vehicle. If you plan on using a WDH you want to choose one based on your loaded tongue weight. For example, the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # EQ37100ET would...

  • How to Determine Bolt Pattern for Spare Tire Wheel on 2005 Holiday Rambler 5th Wheel Trailer
  • I can help you figure out what bolt pattern you have on your 2005 Holiday Rambler 5th wheel but you'll need to do the checking on your end because manufacturers don't keep track of that kind of data and with a trailer that old someone could have swapped out the axles so it might not even be the same as the original. Attached is a picture showing how to measure to determine bolt hole pattern as well as some articles that walk you through how to do this. I am linking our selection of tires...

  • Will Enclosed Trailer Interior Lights Drain Breakaway Battery Without Power from Tow Vehicle
  • Unless there is a battery isolator like the Buyers Products # 3376391050 on your trailer and it is set to off then your interior lights should pull power from your breakaway battery. The only other thing that may be preventing this is if your breakaway battery is dead. Since tow vehicles only provide a slow trickle charge on the 12V power wire if your battery is dead this would make sense. I recommend taking your breakaway battery to get it tested. If it needs to be replaced I recommend...

  • Will Leveling Out 5th Wheel Trailer Place More Weight on the Trailer
  • Thanks for reaching out! I suppose in a very technical sense bringing up your towing rig to level will place some weight back on the trailer but since you're supposed to load your trailer and measure tongue weight with the trailer level all you'll really be doing by leveling out your rig is giving yourself a much safer and enjoyable ride quality. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88212 are an excellent way to help level out your...

  • Correct Wiring Harness for Draw-Tite Activator II on 2004 Ford F-250
  • It sounds like you're looking for the custom wiring harness pigtail that will allow you to plug the brake controller into the factory port under the dash. The correct wiring harness for your 2004 F-250 would be the # 3035-S. This will connect to your Draw-Tite Activator II so you can plug it into your factory port on your truck. The plug should be located above your gas pedal, more than likely it has a gray cap covering it. If you do not have the factory plug then you will wire the brake...

  • Does the Pace Edwards SwitchBlade Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-SWF6985 Have a Locking Feature
  • The Pace Edwards SwitchBlade Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-SWF6985 that you referenced doesn't necessarily have a locking feature, but if your tailgate has a lock then it does secure your truck bed. If you jump to the 0:38 mark in the attached video you can see that to open up the tonneau cover you have to have the tailgate down. With the tailgate locked someone would have to destroy the tonneau cover or beat your lock to gain access to your truck bed making this a great theft deterrent. This...

  • How to Install LED Trailer Light that Grounds Through Mounting Hardware on Aluminum Trailer
  • Since the Dragon's Eye LED Clearance Light # DG52505VP that you referenced grounds through its mounting hardware you will want to actually add a ground wire with some 12 gauge wire like # 12-1-1. You will need to attach the wire at one end to the light's mounting bolt and run it up to the main ground circuit at the trailer connector. Aluminum doesn't conduct electricity very well so mounting this light directly to the frame without adding a ground wire will likely result in intermittent...

  • Mounting Options for Buyers Products 30 Ton Pintle Hook
  • Although we do offer the mounting kit # 3378530, there are no specific plates we carry capable of handling the same capacity as the # 337PH30. The only option would be the Buyers Products Weld-On Pintle Hitch Plate # 3371809027A. However, this would require custom fabrication to be compatible with the pintle hook. It would also take additional reinforcement to be able to handle the same weight as the hook. It does not have a specific weight rating, but similar custom-fit Buyers hitch...

  • Can You Tow with B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford OEM Slid Back
  • In regards to a sliding fifth wheel hitch like the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # BWRVK3370, you can't tow with the hitch slide back away from the cab, this is only used for slow speed turning maneuvers. It would honestly ride horrible with the king pin this far from the rear axle anyhow. If you see yourself making frequent tight turns you might just want to go with the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch part # DM8550024 since the slide feature is automatic so there's no...

  • You will not have any issues with the O2 sensor on your 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty interfering with the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1116 installed. If you take a look at the included video of this hitch being installed on a similar 2018 F-250 with the same sensor you will see that the hitch was able to be installed without any modifications to the sensor or the bracket holding it against the frame.

  • What PSI Should I Inflate My Tires To
  • Trailer tires should always be inflated to their maximum psi when the tires are cold. Running your tires at anything other than 80 psi will change the capacity of the tire to some unknown amount and can also cause the tire to heat up faster than it should which is what often causes tire failure. You also need to make sure your wheels are rated up to 80 psi. This is usually dependent on the valve stem. If you need new stems rated up to 80 psi use part # AM20904.
