In general the differences aren't huge, but some people prefer spring packs with greater amounts of leaves as that in the unlikely event one of them break there are several others to back it up. But the thinner the leaves (to create a multi-leaf spring pack) the more likely one would be to break.

Just to make sure we are accurate on the actual rise you may need, lets cover some basics. With the tow vehicle parked on level ground, measure from the ground to the top of your hitch receiver opening. Then, with the trailer level, measure from the ground to the bottom of the coupler.
