According to owner's manual for your 2008 Dodge Caliber the gross trailer (GTW) and tongue weight (TW) rating of your vehicle with the 2.0L I4 engine is 1,000 lbs and 150 lbs respectively. Therefore, I cannot recommend you use this vehicle to haul your motorcycle (206 lbs) and carrier (36 lbs) as this would exceed the tongue weight capacity of the vehicle.
The only way I can offer you to haul your motorcycle is on the back of a trailer. In order to use this trailer you would need a trailer... view full answer...
I looked up the TriLift scooter lift and they list the lift as working on a Class I 1-1/4 inch hitch, but they limit the weight of your scooter to be less than 115 lbs.
The Hitch Adapter, part # 80303, that you have referenced, can only be used with a Class II receiver. The only hitches available for your 2007 Dodge Caliber are a Class I hitch. The #80303 hitch adapter will not work.
The problem when using a hitch adapter is that you will reduce the tongue weight capacity of your hitch... view full answer...
I went out to the ware house and pulled the Draw-Tite Class I Trailer Hitch, # 24769, and the CURT Cargo Carrier, # C18145, and did some measuring. The dimensions I got are 10-1/2 inches from the closest part of the carrier to the center of the most rearward attachment hole on the hitch.
I produced a short video showing how I took the measurements and explaining how I would go about determining if the 6 inch measurement for the cargo carrier would be sufficient for your 2011 Dodge Caliber.... view full answer...
With the Inno Square Crossbars # INB127, Inno Feet # INSUT and Fit Kit # INK555 on the roof of your 2009 Dodge Caliber the system has a maximum capacity of 80lbs. Using the Swagman Upright Bike Rack # S64720 that weighs 8lbs it has a maximum capacity of 35lbs for a bike. The Inno Ridge Rooftop Cargo Box # INBRA220R-BK weighs just 20lbs allowing you to keep your gear secure. view full answer...
The Inno roof rack that fits your 2010 Dodge Caliber uses 50" square crossbars # INB127 which are 7/8" tall x 1-1/4" wide, although your vehicle also has a crossbar spread of 20" and kayak carriers generally need a minimum spread of 24". Due to that I recommend using the Rhino-Rack Pad # RRRWP05 to carry your kayak; these are 33-1/2" long pads and come with straps.
For a bike rack I recommend checking out the Inno Fork Lock III Roof Bike Rack # INA391 which will fit your crossbars that... view full answer...
The Thule OutWay 3 Bike Rack, # TH56BV, will fit on your 2011 Dodge Caliber as long as it is not the SRT4 model with the rear spoiler. The clips will attach to the top and bottom of the rear hatch and a spoiler cannot support the weight of a trunk mounted bike carrier.
If you have a rear spoiler, then I would recommend a hitch like our Draw-TiteTrailer Hitch, # 24769, and one of our most popular hitch mounted bike racks the Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack, # TH9058. You may also want to get... view full answer...
You can warm up the engine of your 2009 Dodge Caliber with the Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater # KH11812, which is the correct fit.
The location installation is in the front left, marked "FL" on the accompanying photo from the directions that I cut out for you.
I've added a link to a video review for you to check out as well. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Covercraft and the Covercraft SeatSavers, part # SS2376PCSA, you have referenced is not designed to fit on a 2009 Dodge Caliber that has side air bags in the front seat. They said the part # SS2376PCSA will fit the 2007 to 2009 Dodge Caliber front bucket seats with adjustable headrests, without the flat folding passenger seat.
The other part # SS2375PCSA that is for the 2007 to 2009 Dodge Caliber is designed to fit the front bucket seats with adjustable headrests,... view full answer...

With Roadmaster base plates, like the EZ Base Plate Kit # 52281-1 that are confirmed to fit the 2010 Dodge Caliber excluding SRT-4, you will want to use a Roadmaster tow bar to ensure the base plates and tow bar are compatible.
I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon Tow Bar, Motor Home Mount # RM-520. A motor home mount tow bar fits into the trailer hitch receiver on the motor home or tow vehicle and will store on the motor home when not in use. The quick-disconnect system on the Falcon tow... view full answer...

The Dodge Caliber was only produced for one generation, from 2007-2012. The 2007 and 2010 Dodge Caliber would indeed use the same hitch, such as the Draw-Tite Class I # 24769 you'd looked at.
If the hitch has previously been installed, I'd recommend replacing the hardware, as it isn't meant to be repeatedly torqued. You can obtain replacement hardware by using our # RHK replacement hardware kit. On the linked # RHK product page, simply input the hitch part number into the provided field... view full answer...
Yes, the Tow Ready # 118552 T-Connector is a fit for all models of the 2008 Dodge Caliber (except SRT4), and will work on your R/T model. The installation is fairly simple, as the wiring just plugs into the back side of the vehicle tail lights, between the light and factory wiring. You will also need to run the red power wire along the bottom of the vehicle and connect it to the positive terminal on the vehicle battery, with the included fuse and fuse holder in line.

I took a look at the Schwinn Clear Creek online, and am convinced that the upper frame bar doesn't plunge down so far that the frame hook of the bike rack wouldn't be able to hold it. You should be okay without using a frame adapter.
As far as a lock goes, Swagman offers a combo hitch/cable lock part # S64031 that will secure the rack to the hitch and the bikes to the rack. No lock is completely foolproof, but this item will certainly deter theft and encourage would-be thieves to find... view full answer...
The Swagman XC2 Bike Rack # S64650 will technically fit the 1-1/4" receiver opening of the Class I Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch # 24769 on your 2008 Dodge Caliber, but Swagman has tested and deemed that a Class I receiver isn't strong enough which is why it is rated for a Class II hitch.
As an alternative I recommend using the Malone Runway Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # MPG2149 instead. The Runway bike rack can hold 33 lb bikes as opposed to 35 lb bikes like the Swagman XC, but everything... view full answer...
The good news is we have a hitch that will fit a 2008 Dodge Caliber R/T. The Curt Trailer Hitch, # C11006. This is a Class I hitch, 1-1/4 receiver opening, 200 pounds tongue weight capacity, 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight. I have included a link to the installation instructions below.
The Draw-Tite trailer hitch has some subtle differences in terms of where it mounts and how it is designed which is why it will not fit the R/T model. view full answer...
Starting with the trailer hitch, the Draw-Tite hitch # 24769 that you have selected is a correct fit for your 2010 Dodge Caliber Mainstreet. And the Swagman bike carrier # S64670, will fit the hitch and your Caliber as well. I have linked a video showing this bike rack on a 2011 Caliber.
If all you want to do with the hitch is use it for a bike rack then you will not need a ball mount at all. If you do plan on towing a trailer then you would need ball mount # 3591, a 1-7/8 inch ball #... view full answer...
I spoke with my contacts at both Draw-Tite and Curt, who both confirm that their Class I receiver hitches # 24769 and C11006 will fit the 2007 Dodge Caliber R/T AWD model as long as it is not an SRT-4 model.
Although both hitches look very similar and have the same weight bearing capabilities, I would recommend the Curt model due to its additional mounting points. In my opinion, the two additional mounting locations would make for a stronger installation.
I will provide links to the installation... view full answer...
