The Demco hydraulic drum brake assembly, # 40715, mounts to a standard 4-bolt mounting flange like # 4-35. The bolt holes are 2-7/8 inches apart on center. If measuring diagonally from a top hole to a bottom hole it is 4 inches on center. view full answer...
No, it does not. The Passenger Side K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror item # KS62073G tilts in slightly to follow the contour of your Sierra 3500's A pillar. I attached a picture below so you can see it installed. It's slight but definitely won't be level. This is just for the passenger side. If you need the complete set you will want item # KS62073-74G. view full answer...
It won't fit because the brackets are completely different. The 2008 GMC Sierra's are a different generation than a 2005. GM made some significant changes to their trucks for the 2008-2013 generation. These are designed to be bolted on only, no drilling, to supports and mounting points underneath your truck. They'll be in different locations and most likely a different size on the older trucks. The bars themselves also follow the contour of the trucks body which changed with the new generation.

We don't rate the Fulton chains we offer like the part # FCHA0050324 that you mentioned. Fulton is who tested and rated the chains for 18,800 lbs. They are normally very conservative with how they rate their chains and towing products and we've yet to have any issues with that so I'd feel very confident in the 18.8k capacity. view full answer...
Since your trailer is sitting perfectly level, even though it is on an incline, the tongue weight of the setup will be accurate if you were to weight it as-is. If the nose of the trailer was high or low the figures would get skewed. You will need to somehow get the scale to sit perfectly level as well for an accurate reading which could prove challenging.
You should note that any weight from cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle will need to be considered as tongue weight.

In the USA a tandem axle utility trailer with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 7500-lbs should have brakes installed. Any trailer over 3000-lbs must have brakes on all wheels in most states, but laws do vary. Some states require braked axles on trailers with a GVW as low as 2000-lbs; other states have a higher limit. It is best to check with authorities in your local area.
The weight of the tow vehicle can come into play here too. Often the gross weight of any such trailer without... view full answer...
Generally we recommend 3/4-ton long bed trucks for 5th wheel towing. Although the 2007 - 2013 Sierras with 6.2L V8 have 400+ horsepower (enough power for your trailer's weight) the short bed makes maneuvering the 5th wheel a challenge since you have reduced turning clearance. Short bed trucks CAN be used for 5th wheels by using a slider hitch or better still a Sidewinder. A Sidewinder replacement pin box extends the pivot point rearward from the hitch by 22-inches, almost double the additional... view full answer...

You are correct that the Ranch Hitch # AM3100 adapter is not compatible with the Tri-Glide pin box as it was designed to be used with standard pin boxes only (nothing cushioned or with an air bag).
It is important to have some cushion in weight capacities when it comes to any kind of towing and the 21K Demco Recon # DM8550045 will have 1,000 lbs of extra capacity if you were to load your 2014 Dutchman Voltage V3990 all the way to the 20K capacity.
With all of that being said, it would... view full answer...

I have a solution for you. Technically, the TuXport Soft Tonneau Cover # TX281601 can hold up to 200 pounds of evenly distributed weight on the cover and will fit your 1999 GMC Sierra (8-ft. bed). However, there would be difficulty with securing the kayaks to your truck without a crossbar system.
With that being said, the safest way to transport your 2 kayaks would be a ladder rack system like the Adarac Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Steel with Aluminum Crossbars # A70570. The Adarac... view full answer...
The towing capacity of the Curt hitch part # C15323 is 16,000 lbs with a tongue weight capacity of 2,400 lbs.
Your vehicle most likely has lower towing capacities than that so you'd need to go by the lower vehicle capacities as the overall capacity. view full answer...

First I should mention that Curt trailer hitch # C15323 will only fit your 2002 GMC Sierra 2500 if it is an LD (light duty) model. It will not fit a 2500HD (heavy duty) model.
But on the hitch it measures approximately 6-1/2 inches from the rear most attachment point (on the vehicle) to the top of the cross tube and 9 inches to the bottom (the cross tube is approximately 2-1/2 inches square). Take a look at the picture I added with these measurements. view full answer...

A weight distribution system is used to more evenly distribute the weight of the trailer to all axles of the trailer and tow vehicle. When using the extension, # RP45292, the tongue weight capacity is going to depend on the length the extension is cut to. If it is cut down to 24 inches, the tongue weight capacity 600 pounds. At the 34 inch length the capacity is 450 pounds.
It does not sound like you have a weight distribution if you are using the extension and a ball mount and are connected... view full answer...
