There is really only one difference between the Demco 4-Diode Universal Towed Vehicle Wiring Kit with 7-Wire to 6-Wire Coiled Connector # DM9523010-54 and the Blue Ox Tow Bar Wiring Kit # BX8848, which is that the Demco comes with the 7-Wire to 6-Wire cord as well as a vehicle-side 6-way while the Blue Ox kit requires those be purchased separately.
So if you were to go with the Blue Ox Tow Bar Wiring Kit # BX8848 you would also need the Blue Ox 7-Wire to 6-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord... view full answer...
For your 2019 Jeep Wrangler the EZ5 kit part # RM-521453-5 is a fit and what makes it unique to the EZ4 part # RM-521453-4 is that the EZ5 does not require you to use the crossbar that comes with Roadmaster tow bars like the Falcon 2 part # RM-520. The kit attaches directly to the tow bar whereas with the EZ4 you have to use the crossbar.
Not having to use the crossbar makes connecting and disconnecting a bit more easy, but the trade-off is that you can't use a Rock Guard like the # RM-4000... view full answer...
Essentially there is no difference between the two part numbers you referenced. The # 65069 is a newer part number that Draw Tite released that happens to have a better price point. And #65055 is no longer available.
The # 65069 will work well on your 2015 Jeep Wrangler. view full answer...
For your 2001 Jeep Wrangler with U-channel bumper, I would go with # 1420-1 base plate kit, because it features removable arms. Being able to remove the base plate arms maintains the look of your Wrangler when you are not flat towing and by removing the additional arm length, it helps prevent many a shin injury.
Before towing your Wrangler, I would recommend checking with the dealer for additional instructions regarding flat towing. In many cases, additional modifications need to be made... view full answer...
The primary difference between the two Rhino-Rack Nautic rear-loading kayak carriers # RR581 and # RR571 is the type of roof crossbar they will install on.
The # RR581 works with crossbars that have an internal channel (please see the photo I linked for you) while the # RR571 works on a whole range of crossbar types including round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars. The bars' spread needs to be at least 23-9/16-inches measured center to center for this carrier to fit.

There are two finishes offered for the Bestop HighRock 4x4 Bumper that will fit your 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
The Satin Black finish # B4290201 and the Matte Black finish # B4490201. I have linked them both to this page for your convenience.
If you would like to send me a picture of your stock front bumper, I would be more than happy to help compare which finish is closer to your stock front bumper on your vehicle. Satin is more of a semi-gloss while matte is not shiny at all. view full answer...
The difference between the # BX1118 and the # BX1120 comes down to the vehicle model years and the bumper they're compatible with.
The # BX1118 fits the standard steel factory channel bumpers of the 1997-2002 Wrangler, while the # BX1120 fits the double tube bumper on 1997-2006 Wrangler models.
The # RM-031 adapter you'd looked at would work well with a Roadmaster Tow Bar like the # RM-522 Falcon All-Terrain. You'd also need safety cables like # RM-643. In order for the taillights on... view full answer...
The main difference between the Blue Ox Acclaim Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX4330 and the Blue Ox Ascent Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX4370 besides the weight capacities is the mounting styles. The Acclaim is designed to mount to a hitch ball whereas the Ascent will mount directly into the receiver of your motorhome's trailer hitch.
I've attached some videos below where Dave will walk you through some of the features of these tow bars and show you them in use. view full answer...
There are a few differences between the Universal Installation Kit part # ETBC7 and the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit part # ETBC7L. The biggest one is that part # ETBC7 comes with both the power and brake output wire you will need to run to the cab/battery whereas the part # ETBC7L only comes with the power wire you will need to run to the battery. The reason for this is because part # ETBC7L is geared more towards wireless brake controllers like the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part... view full answer...
Actually, both MagnaFlow catalytic converter # MF93649 and # MF49690 will look identical. And they do have O2 ports so that will be updated. The difference is the quality of the materials used inside the converters. For OEM grade you would use # MF49690. And for direct fit that is more economical use # MF93649. Both are 49-state legal. view full answer...
The Brophy Ball Mount # BM20 and the Brophy # BH20 referenced in your question are extremely similar to each other. They are both designed for 2 inch trailer hitch receivers, have a 10,000 pound towing weight capacity, feature a long, 13-1/4 inch shank and will give you either a 3/4 inch rise or a 2 inch drop. The primary difference between the two units is the ball hole diameter.
The # BH20 has a 1-1/4 inch ball hole diameter, which will be compatible with a hitch ball with this same... view full answer...
For your 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, the concern is the clearance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest point the spare tire sticks out. Other than the Kuat NV 2.0 # NV22G with 7 inches of clearance in the up position, one of the platform bike racks that offers the most distance is the Yakima HoldUp 2 Bike Hitch Mounted Folding Rack with Wheel Mount Cradles, # Y02443. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the first bike tray is 12 inches. I have linked you... view full answer...
Both Roadmaster and Blue Ox make quality tow bars and related components like base plates for flat towing. You can refer to the two linked articles for a comparison of their features but I can tell you our installers do like the Blue Ox equipment. However, there are also a wide range of adapters available to allow use of a Roadmaster base plate with a Blue Ox towbar, and vice-versa, since there are many products in use and not everyone is starting from scratch with their flat towing set-up.

The Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit, # RM-521448-4, will fit a 2010 Jeep Wrangler without aftermarket bumpers, winch, or guards. There is some trimming needed on the factory rock guard underneath the front bumper.
The Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit, # RM-521448-4, is for the 2007 to 2009 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. It will not fit the 2010 Jeep Wrangler.
The Roadmaster EZ4 series base plates are our most popular base plates. They will fit all the Roadmaster tow bars and they have... view full answer...
When looking at the Tekonsha proportional brake controllers there are some differences that set each one apart from the others.
At the low end we have the Voyager # 39510 with # 20127. It uses older technology to sense deceleration, only has an indicator light, no display or readout, and you have to manually level it. It also has a narrower mounting range than the other options.
Next up from the Voyager is the Primus # TK90160. This controller has the guts of the original Prodigy brake... view full answer...
It sounds like you already have the Timbren Front or Rear Suspension Enhancement System, part # TJFTJ, installed on the front axle of your 2013 Jeep Wrangler. This installs within the springs you already have.
However, the Rear Suspension Enhancement System, part # TJRJK, is only for the rear. It also replaces the bump stops alongside the springs on the rear, not within them. This is the one for your rear since you already have the others on the front.
I've linked to a video installation... view full answer...
