You're very limited on suspension upgrades with a single axle on your 2020 Wolf Pup 16FQ. Since you're worried about suspension component failure, I would add the Dexter Heavy Duty Suspension Upgrade Kit for Single Axle Trailers # K71-358-00. This includes 1/2" thick steel shackle straps, wet bolts, and bronze bushings so you know the components will last. This is one of the best upgrades you can make on any trailer.

When replacing suspension components it's important to replace each component with matching sizes to keep the spacing right for the suspension to travel. You'll want to lift the trailer on one side by the frame and remove the wheels to get better access to the suspension and then you can measure each component based on the diagrams below. That's a good question and you're right there aren't heavy-duty shackle straps that are 2-5/8 inches center to center. But you can still definitely upgrade, and the best option for replacing the 2-5/8" straps is a kit with 2-1/4" shackle straps:

Hey Orlando, it's interesting that the dealer recommended against a weight distribution system because that would actually be your best solution to level your truck when towing. A suspension enhancement solution for the truck like an air bag setup would provide additional support to level the truck but that's as far as the benefits really go. Personally Jim, I prefer the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs # SS26MV over the Lippert Shock Kit # LC281281. The SumoSprings help to absorb road shock and provide additional support to the suspension. The shocks only work to reduce shock by slowing the rate of travel of the suspension. It looks like you ordered the Timbren # ASR1200S02 which uses # L44649 bearings. I recommend using the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub for 2K Axles # AKIHUB-545-2-LFEZ-2K which is designed for 13" to 15" wheels. You won't find 14" or 15" wheels that can use a 4 on 4 bolt pattern so you're definitely going to need a hub with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern like this one.

Sorry about your troubles, I would be worried about the other ones failing too. To replace the shackles and wet bolts you will want to use the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit with either 2-1/4" Strap Kit item # MR46ZR or a 3-1/8" Strap Kit item # MR76ZR. You will need to measure the length of your current shackles and pick the kit closest to them.
As far as replacing your leaf springs and equalizers go there's no better time to do it if you're already replacing your shackles and wet bolts.... view full answer...
