  • Parts Needed to Convert 2023 Big Tex 14GN to Air Suspension
  • Hey Brandon, so the Lippert Center Point part # LC1565391 can be used on your camper but you will need to convert to a double eye spring setup as this can't be used with slipper setups. So for that you'd want 7k springs pat # e64SR and the hanger kit part # APT3 and you'd be set.

  • Rear Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2013 Chevy Avalanche

  • Recommended Parts For Suspension Building Car Hauler Suspension With Tandem 3,500LB Axles
  • Andy, while I do like your Axle # e95SR and U-Bolt Kit # CE23002 selection of which you will need 2 of each I do have another recommendation for the suspension kit. The Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit # APT3 you found has longer equalizers designed for a 35" spacing used on larger axles. Also I do not like the shackle straps it comes with either as they are a thin steel and over time the holes will likely start to elongate. Instead you should use the Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Kit # K71-359-00...

  • Suspension Enhancement Kit for 2011 GMC Yukon XL 2500
  • Hey Will, so we don't have an air bag kit that fits your 2011 GMC Yukon XL 2500 but we do have a really great solution with the Roadactive suspension kit part # RAS4611 which I would have recommended over an air bag kit anyway as it's an easier install, easier to maintain, and also improves ride quality and handling unlike all other options.

  • Suspension Upgrade for 2020 Wolf Pup 16FQ
  • You're very limited on suspension upgrades with a single axle on your 2020 Wolf Pup 16FQ. Since you're worried about suspension component failure, I would add the Dexter Heavy Duty Suspension Upgrade Kit for Single Axle Trailers # K71-358-00. This includes 1/2" thick steel shackle straps, wet bolts, and bronze bushings so you know the components will last. This is one of the best upgrades you can make on any trailer. Outside of that, adding the SumoSprings is going to be the best option....

  • Hey Derik, the best suspension enhancement kit we offer for your 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 is the Roadactive kit part # RAS54FR which gives the best support when loaded and unloaded as it actually improves ride quality and handling loaded and unloaded unlike basically all other options.

  • Weight Distribution Recommendation for 1996 Ford F-350 Towing Jayco 284BHS
  • Hey Tom, so you've done about as much suspension enhancement to you 1996 Ford F-350 as you can so what I would recommend for your new Jayco is a weight distribution system like the Strait Line part # RP66084 which will distribute some of the trailer's tongue weight up to the front axle of your truck which will help reduce suspension sag as well as improve handling and braking. This system also has the best sway control at preventing sway as well.

  • Will the MORryde ALLTREK 4000 Equalizers Provide a Smoother Ride for a Boat Trailer
  • Hey Ken, thanks for reaching out! The MORryde ALLTREK 4000 Shock Absorbing Equalizers, 33" Wheelbase # MR89DR or 35" Wheelbase # MR29DR, are a good upgrade to a standard leaf spring suspension and will help to provide a better ride quality for your trailer and boat. There are definitely better suspension upgrades like the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2570, but this is a really big suspension upgrade so it is priced accordingly. I will...

  • Replacement Suspension Components For A 2019 Freedom Express 275BHS
  • Hi Steve, When replacing suspension components it's important to replace each component with matching sizes to keep the spacing right for the suspension to travel. You'll want to lift the trailer on one side by the frame and remove the wheels to get better access to the suspension and then you can measure each component based on the diagrams below. Once we have some more information we can start looking for the correct replacements.

  • Suspension Upgrade for a 2023 Subaru Ascent that's Sagging When Pulling a Trailer
  • To keep your back end from squatting, I recommend the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension item # CSS-1094R. These insert into your rear springs and keep your suspension from being pushed down by the weight of your trailer.

  • Suspension Upgrade Kit to Replace 2-5/8" Shackle Straps on Travel Trailer
  • Hi Kollin, That's a good question and you're right there aren't heavy-duty shackle straps that are 2-5/8 inches center to center. But you can still definitely upgrade, and the best option for replacing the 2-5/8" straps is a kit with 2-1/4" shackle straps: - MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR46ZR Though these are shorter than what you have, they will allow enough room for the right amount of suspension travel, and are a better option than the longer straps,...

  • Recommended Suspension Enhancement for a 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis
  • Not that we would have! Sorry Peter but for a 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis the only help we can offer for suspension upgrades are the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension item # CSS-1145R. These insert in your rear coil springs and keep the suspension from fully moving thus preventing squat. They are easily removable when you're not towing.

  • Lippert Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers For a 2022 Astoria 3273RLP 5TH Wheel Camper
  • The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279688 you found are going to be the correct equalizers for your 2022 Astoria 3273RLP. You will also want to upgrade to one of the wet bolt kits from the list below as these will allow the equalizers to move more easily to better do their job. You will first want to measure the length of your equalizers from center of bolt holes to get the length and then verify if you have the correct track adjustable suspension which means you have adjustable discs...

  • What is Best Way to Prevent Suspension Sag with 2016 Ford F-150 Towing Travel Trailer
  • Hey Orlando, it's interesting that the dealer recommended against a weight distribution system because that would actually be your best solution to level your truck when towing. A suspension enhancement solution for the truck like an air bag setup would provide additional support to level the truck but that's as far as the benefits really go. A WDH system is going to actually put some of that tongue weight up on the front axle of the truck which greatly helps braking and handling so it's...

  • Recommended 5 Lug Timbren Axle-Less System for 13" Trailer Tires
  • The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR2KHDS09 you're looking at is actually not going to work with your trailer tires since this kit is only going to work with trailer wheels that are 16" or larger. So, instead I'd recommend going with the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension w Electric Brakes # A35RS545E. This is also an axle-less system that has a 3.5K capacity, a 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern, will work with 16" wheels or smaller, and Includes hubs (with bearings, races, and seals)...

  • Recommended Suspension Enhancement for a Travel Trailer
  • For your travel trailer, I recommend checking out the Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit w/ Heavy Duty Gas Shocks # LC281255. This kit will work with 3,500 lb axles and will bolt right on with the included mounting hardware to help reduce all the bouncing you're experiencing.

  • Are SumoSprings or Lippert Shocks Better For a 2022 Grand Design 295RL With 5,200LB Axles?
  • Personally Jim, I prefer the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs # SS26MV over the Lippert Shock Kit # LC281281. The SumoSprings help to absorb road shock and provide additional support to the suspension. The shocks only work to reduce shock by slowing the rate of travel of the suspension. As you have a tandem axle trailer be sure to order 2 kits.

  • Recommended Hub and 14-15 Inch Wheel and Tire for Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension
  • It looks like you ordered the Timbren # ASR1200S02 which uses # L44649 bearings. I recommend using the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub for 2K Axles # AKIHUB-545-2-LFEZ-2K which is designed for 13" to 15" wheels. You won't find 14" or 15" wheels that can use a 4 on 4 bolt pattern so you're definitely going to need a hub with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern like this one. I'm not entirely sure what your setup is like but you will need to make sure you have clearance for the larger tires. At a minimum...

  • Recommended Replacement Shackles and Wet Bolts for a 2020 Grand Design Solitude 380FL
  • Sorry about your troubles, I would be worried about the other ones failing too. To replace the shackles and wet bolts you will want to use the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit with either 2-1/4" Strap Kit item # MR46ZR or a 3-1/8" Strap Kit item # MR76ZR. You will need to measure the length of your current shackles and pick the kit closest to them. As far as replacing your leaf springs and equalizers go there's no better time to do it if you're already replacing your shackles and wet bolts....
