To replace your 7" long 3-1/2" tall equalizer I recommend the MORryde Rubber Equalizers # MR87ZR. These will be a nice upgrade from a standard equalizer as they feature rubber inserts to help absorb road shock. The Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ94FR fits a 2-1/2" shank, is 2" square, and the bolt holes are 1-1/4" apart on center so as long as your 1980s weight distribution head meets the 2" width spec it sounds like you'll be just fine, although you'll only have 1 bolt hole's worth of adjustment since your bolt hole spacing will span 3 bolt holes.

That is a great question and in order for both of us to find the answer you're going to need to use a digital caliper like item # PTW80157 to take an accurate measurement of your Ranger trailer's hub's bore. There's no database I can look at that will tell me what's on a trailer made recently let alone one from 1989 so I am sorry I can't just give you a part number.

That is a very neat trailer! I am happy to try and help you along. With an axle that old, it may prove very difficult to find parts that are directly compatible. A lot of parts they used back then are more or less obsolete now. A majority of the electric bake kits we sell will use either a 4 or 5 bolt flange. We do not offer any brakes that use a 6 bolt flange.

Hey Brian, so we don't have a third crossbar option but I do have a somewhat similar option but it would require a front hitch like the Draw Tite part # 65052 installed on your 2008 Chevy Tahoe so you could use an upright hitch adapter like the Rhino Rack part # RTL002 which would give you an adjustable crossbar out in front of your Tahoe. Hi Mark; unfortunately that would not be possible. To use the Bulldog Round, Pipe-Mount Swivel Jack # BD178101 you would have to weld on the pip mount that comes with the jack. It wouldn't work with the snap ring mount you currently have.
