Will Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank Bolt Hole Spacing Match Up with Older Head Unit
Question:
I have a 2013 Chevy Tahoe w/2inch receiver. I believe I need a EQ94FR shank to get the 6-1/2inch drop for my Big Tex flat bed trailer. QUESTION: Will my mid-1980s style Trunnion Head bolt up to the EQ94FR shank? The Heads mounting bolt spacing is 3-3/4. Thank you for your response.

Expert Reply:
The Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ94FR fits a 2-1/2" shank, is 2" square, and the bolt holes are 1-1/4" apart on center so as long as your 1980s weight distribution head meets the 2" width spec it sounds like you'll be just fine, although you'll only have 1 bolt hole's worth of adjustment since your bolt hole spacing will span 3 bolt holes.
