Hi there Donald; first, thanks for the purchases and and unfortunately the base plate for your 2015 Jeep Wrangler - part # BX1126 - will not fit the 2024 Jeep Wrangler. The correct Blue Ox base plate for the '24 Wrangler is the following:
- Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1139
The base plates for the '15 Wrangler only fit up to the 2018 model year, which is why new base plates are needed. view full answer...
Hey David, thanks for reaching out!
I recommend using the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar - Non-Binding - 6,000 lbs # RM-522 for your 2010 Jeep Wrangler because it has that non-binding feature and is more practical both when it comes to weight rating as well as pricing and functionality.
To make this compatible with the D-Rings on your Jeep bumper you'll need part # RM-035 for 3/4" Mounts or the part # RM-035-1 for 1" Mounts. view full answer...
Hey John, so there's no reason you couldn't mount the Roadmaster Universal Braking Monitor # RM-9530 under the hood of your vehicle. The signal strength would be perfectly fine there. view full answer...
To be able to run the same 5 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern for your Jeep Wrangler on the M105A2 trailer you are going to have to cut off your current spindles to have 2 Spindles # TRU77FR installed. This is the common size spindle found on a 3,500lb axle which will then let you install 2 of the Hub/Drums # AKHD-555-35-EZ-K. With these you will want to install Electric Brakes # 23-468-469 since they are much better on an Overlanding trailer than surge type brakes. We do have a Junction Box # 3430001-JBK... view full answer...
We can for sure get your 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon set up with a braking system to be flat towed, though I do have to say that since your motorhome has air brakes and you want a permanent system, you do have to integrate with the air brakes in the RV. There's just not a permanent system that works without doing that, so if that's okay then the best option by far is from Demco:
- Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motorhomes with Air Brakes # SM99243
The # SM99243 is... view full answer...
It sounds like you are needing the parts to flat tow your 2000 Jeep Wrangler behind your RV along with a supplemental braking system. The supplemental braking system will activate the brakes in your Wrangler to reduce the chances of cooking your brakes when in the mountains. I recommend using the following parts to make flat towing safest.
Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521424-5
Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676

Hey Robert, for your 2016 Jeep Wrangler using the Ready Brute Elite II tow bar you can use the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1126 with the Blue Ox Base Plate Adapter Brackets for Ready Brute Elite Tow Bars # BX88297.
From here, to complete your flat towing setup you'll just need a braking system # BLU37TR with the 12V outlet kit # RM-9332, and a set of tow bar wiring # TL21RK. view full answer...
Hey Gary, the Hopkins tow bar lighting kit part # HM56200 that you referenced carries the stoplight circuit so the brake lights of the Jeep you have it installed in will still function regardless of if you have a braking system pressing the brake pedal or not. view full answer...
Hey Orvin, the etrailer base plate kit part # e98949 that you referenced is a fit for your 2008 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and would be a great option as it's easy to use and really well made. view full answer...
Hey Cheryl, on a vehicle with a soft top like your 2009 Jeep Wrangler you'd need to attach magnetic lights like the part # C6304 to the bumper of since that's where metal would be. view full answer...
Yes, the Curt Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit # C96JR will also connect with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118786 on your 2023 Jeep Wrangler JL. These all use the same style factory connectors so they will plug in line of each other. If you have any additional lighting connected to the trailer connector on your Wrangler you will need to ensure you connect the Curt harness to the factory harness and then the Tekonsha trailer wiring into it then the tail lights so they get the power needed... view full answer...
Hey Rodney, good question so there isn't a single harness that will do both a tow bar lighting and trailer wiring solution but you can install both at the same time. So for trailer wiring you could use the Tekonsha part # 118786 and then for the tow bar lighting kit you'd want the part # C96JR. Basically the two kits would plug into each other and then back into your vehicle. view full answer...
Okay Mike, but I am actually going to give you a couple different options since the 6-way is not very common and we do have the more popular 7-way option which would only require a simple Adapter # 47549.
First if you only want the 6-Pin connector we have the Kit # ETBC6 which will connect to your 4-way and also provides you with the wiring needed to run the required charge line and brake controller.
Otherwise we have the more commonly found 7-Way Kit # ETBC7 which is very similar to... view full answer...
Hello Barbara. If your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has D-rings on the bumper, you can use the Blue Ox D-Ring Adapters to connect your jeep to your tow bar. You can use the # BX88358 adapters for 1" D-rings or the # BX88357 adapters for 7/8" D-rings.
If you do not have a D-ring bumper you will need to use a frame-mounted base plate. For the 2023 Wrangler Unlimited you will need part # BX1126. Keep in mind that this is for the base model with the standard factory bumper. If your Jeep is... view full answer...
