  • Difference Between Curt and etrailer Trailer Hitch Receivers For a 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon
  • The only difference between the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C67JR and our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e25TR for your 2023 Subaru Outback is the finish. We selected Curt to manufacturer our receivers as they have great quality, and are made in the USA. The Curt receiver has a gloss black powder coat finish while our etrailer receiver has a matte black powder coat finish. I prefer the matte black powder coat as it gives it a factory appearance and blends in better with the matte finish...

  • Difference Between E-Coat and Dacromet on Trailer Brake Kit
  • The e-coat on the # AKFBBRK-35 is basically a paint that uses an electrical current to apply it to the surface. The Dacromet coating on the # AKFBBRK-35-D is a water-based adhesive coating made of zinc and aluminum flakes. The part is dipped in the coating and then heated for a uniform application on the surface. The Dacromet is a much better choice for applications where corrosion resistance is important. That is why we list it as ideal for boat and snowmobile trailers.

  • Is There an etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica with Glossy Finish
  • Yes, you can get the matte finish with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98903 or gloss with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13383. They are the exact same hitch aside from finish. There really isn't a benefit for one over the other, it's more or less preference. I find that the matte finish blends in with the underbody paneling better on certain vehicles but it's again mostly preference.

  • Comparing etrailer, Curt, and Draw-Tite Hitches for 2020 Subaru Forester
  • The etrailer # e83ZR, Curt # C13409, and Draw-Tite # 76271 are all incredibly similar and have the same capacity. In fact, the etrailer hitch and the Curt are exactly the same with the exception of the finish. The etrailer hitch has a matte black powder coat finish which sets it apart from the other hitches. This gives it an OEM look and does a better job hiding dirt and scratches. The reason the price is typically lower on the etrailer hitch is because it is our own brand. This allows...

  • What is the Difference Between the Redarc Tow Pro Elite V2 and v3
  • The # RED44FR is the 331-EBRH-ACCV3, which is the 3rd version of the Redarc Tow Pro Elite controller that was originally only available in Australia; the # 331-EBRH-ACCV2 is the 2nd version and has been phased out. They're really mostly the same controller and there aren't any functional changes made between the two aside from the smaller knob on the V3 # RED44FR. I've linked a video review of this controller for you to check out, but even though one is newer the updates were mostly cosmetic.

  • Adjustable Sway Bar Links and Heavy Duty Sway Bar For Fleetwood Excursion Motorhome
  • Would adjustable sway bar links work on your 2013 Fleetwood Excursion? Assuming that there is something like this out there that fits your stock sway bar- yes, they would work. But, if you haven't changed the ride height of your motorhome, I'm not really sure that you need adjustable sway bar links since they're typically only needed on vehicles that have been lifted. When you lift a vehicle it changes the steering geometry, and adjustable sway bar links allow you to not have to relocate...

Other than that, both are pretty similar. • Comparing Dometic 310 Toilets 302310093 and 302310081
  • The biggest difference between the Dometic 310 part 302310093 you've currently got and the Dometic Part-Timer # DOM57FR is that the Part-Timer comes with an all wood, slow-close seat where your existing model is the retail model that comes with the plastic seat. The other difference is the color, since the # DOM57FR is white where your old toilet is considered a "bone" color. There is a slightly different color available of the 310 Part-Timer with the Dometic Part-Timer RV Toilet - Standard...

  • Which Type of Pigtail Lead to Use with Optronics Round LED Trailer Stop/Turn/Tail Light # STL42RB
  • The Round LED Trailer Stop/Turn/Tail Light # STL42RB from Optronics uses an industry-standard 3-prong plug. The two plugs you referenced, the Straight 3-Wire Pigtail # A45PB and the Right Angle 3-Wire Pigtail # A47PB, both will fit this light assembly. You choice will just be a matter of preference depending on the amount of clearance you have behind the light's mounting points. If space is tight then the right angle plug might be a better option. I suggest you apply dielectric grease,...

  • Comparing Installation of Curt C31068 vs Draw-Tite 65061 on 2010 Ford F-150
  • I spoke with my contacts at Curt and Draw-Tite and was given the following information. Installing the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C31068, on the 2010 Ford F-150 Supercrew 4x4 with a straight down air dam will require some minor trimming to the fascia. As for the skid shield he said more than likely this hitch will not require that you modify the skid shield. As for the oil filter, he said the hitch should not interfere with your access to the filter. According to my Draw-Tite...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch For 2015 Jeep Wrangler
  • The hitches you listed, part # 9883544, and part # 13432, are both manufactured by Curt and are Class lll hitches with 2 inch receiver openings. There is no difference in the performance or capacities for these hitches. We received special pricing for the # 9883544, and that is why it was listed as a separate item. Now that we are out of them, we are only listing the # 13432 hitch. My son-in-law recently purchased the # 13432 for his Jeep Wrangler and is very pleased with its performance....

  • Comparing 4.80-12 and 5.30 Trailer Tire and Wheel Combos
  • The two main differences between 4.80-12 and 5.30-12 trailer tires is the overall sizes. To start a 4.80-12 tire will be 20.5 inches tall and 4.9 inches wide. A 5.30-12 tire will be 21.9 inches tall and 5.6 inches wide. This difference is important because going to a larger size tire could cause interference with the actual trailer frame or a fender. You have to make sure you have the space for the larger tires before trying to install them. If you go with a tire that is rated much...

  • Gateway # TH88VR For a 2011 Ford Fusion
  • The 2-bike version of the Thule Gateway Pro # TH88VR, is a confirmed fit for your Fusion, but Thule doesn't recommend the 3 bike version # TH78VR. If you'll be transporting women's bikes or bikes with sharply-angled top tubes, you might consider a frame adapter bar like part # 64005. The bar spans the distance between the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post, which provides a secondary attachment point for the bike rack. This allows the bike to be carried level, which maximizes ground...
