It sounds like you are trying to install a 7-way trailer connector on your 2009 Dodge Nitro. I checked the owner's manual for your 2010 Dodge Nitro and when using weight distribution it has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds gross trailer weight. You would not be able to tow a trailer that weights 7,600 pounds.
