I spoke with my contact at MagnaFlow and the Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System, # MF16702, will give you a 10 percent increase in horsepower and torque. For your 2010 Dodge Nitro 4.0L you will be looking at a 9 to 15 horsepower increase and an additional 14 ft lbs of torque.

He also told me that they do not measure the level of fuel efficiency for their exhaust systems. Fuel efficiency is more of a by product of this system since it improves your engine performance. There are many factors that figure in to determining fuel efficiency such as other after market products that have been installed, maintenance of the vehicle and driving habits that make it difficult to quantify a miles per gallon increase.
