We don't have the drawings you are looking for, but if you check out the pictures I attached you will see that both the Draw Tite part # 75234 and the Curt # C13234 do not extend out past the rear bumper at all.

If I were choosing between the Tekonsha harness, # 118551 and the Curt wiring harness, # C56329 for a 2007 Ford Edge, I would go for the 118551. Tekonsha has been in the wiring business longer, they have great support, and they work well if you take care of them (make sure to keep the 4-Way clean, store it in the vehicle when not in use, stay within the amperage limits).

Curt is new to bike racks. Swagman has been making them for many, many years. So you can imagine where Curt might have drawn their inspiration from! Swagman makes a good rack for sure but with that said the simple design is hard to mess up so honestly I think you would be happy going with either rack. I did some research to find out what the difference is between the 2014 Ford Edge and the Edge Sport, and why there were different hitches available.
They told me that the exhaust on the Sport model sits a bit lower than the other models, so they have manufactured hitches to accommodate the difference.

Both hitches have the same stability and towing capacity, but the # C13234 fits ALL models of the 2015 Edge, while the C13224 fits all models with the exception of the Sport model. The tail light connectors are different on the 2020 Ford Edge Titanium from the other trims. You can see in the images I put below that the tabs off the connectors are in different places. The Curt T-Connector # C73FR for the Titanium has black connectors with the tabs at the corners. Since the difference between the 2019 Ford Edge Titanium and the other models is that the Titanium comes with LED taillights Tekonsha had to make a different kit with a different converter box that accommodates the difference in lighting. The Tekonsha Wiring Harness # 118677 is a T-connector that plugs into the wiring of your 2017 Ford Edge Sport behind both tail lights. It's a direct plug and play so there's no splicing or wire cutting necessary and will be a lot easier than a hardwire option.

We carry 2 trailer hitch receivers to fit your 2012 Ford Edge; the Curt part # C13067 and the Draw-Tite part # 75728. Between them I prefer the Draw-Tite simply for aesthetics. With the Curt hitch you can see the entire crosstube on the Edge but the Draw-Tite only shows the receiver tube opening. Take a look at the pictures I've attached.
