What you are describing sounds like the 15A circuit breaker that comes with the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 is shot. This can easily be replaced with another circuit breaker like the 20A # 9506P but since your kit is only a year old it would be good to check your wiring as well as these shouldn't go out that quick.

The Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 was a great choice for your 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. You did have a connection mistake as the amber blinkers should not be lighting up when the brakes are applied. You simply connected the wrong vehicle wire to the diode. When wiring the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to the Blue Ox 7-Wire to 6-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord # BX88206 the red wire coming from the battery will go to the 7 Way port in the 1 o'clock position when looking at the back of the RV. I would not recommend running the wiring for the 7-Way # ETBC7L within 1" of the exhaust/muffler on your 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. If this is the only way you can run the wiring you will want to see about getting a section of metal you can mount on your existing heat shield to protect the exposed section of wiring. For a new hub to fit on a spindle it must use the exact same set of bearings and the same grease seal as the original hub. You can check that this is the case for the hub you have. The linked diagram shows where to find the part numbers.

It sounds like the arms of your Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676 got stuck before locking in place. I recommend spraying the arms with some lubrication # RM-747 and working the arms in and out a bit. Some wobble is unavoidable with bike racks like the Saris Superclamp # SA4025F. To help limit the wobble, you can use this anti rattle # C27UR. We have to recommend using the flange since that's what Curt recommends. My guess is that the the carriage bolt isn't going all the way through the spacer block so you might try rotating the bolt to see if it can seat all the way through it. If the front bolts are tight you might try loosening them to see if that gives more slack for the rear bolts to thread through. view full answer...
I suspect you're using the incorrect wire from the brake switch. According to the information I've found, the circuit you're wanting to tap the red brake controller wire into is a white/brown striped wire, not a solid brown.
