When wiring the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to the Blue Ox 7-Wire to 6-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord # BX88206 the red wire coming from the battery will go to the 7 Way port in the 1 o'clock position when looking at the back of the RV. This is the standard position for this. It is definitely a good idea to make sure there is power at this port, so you will need to use something like the # PTW2993 wire tester to make sure it has constant 12-volt power when the RV is on. If you have power, skip ahead. If you aren't, check the fuse to make sure it's good and then make sure all your connections are solid.

6 Ways are a little different and the 12-volt power port is indeed in the middle. A quick way to test this to make sure it is wired properly will be to use the # PTW2993 wire tester again. Simply start the RV, plug the umbilical back in to the RV 7 Way, and connect the tester to the center port of the 6 Way on the end of the umbilical. It should have 12 volts at all times. If it doesn't and one of the other ports does, then there is something wrong with the connector and it will need to be replaced. If it does test properly though, you will need to connect the vehicle side charge line to the center port of the 6 Way and you are good to go.

If it still isn't charging though, check the fuse on the vehicle side charge line. These can be bad out of the box and it would definitely cause the issue you are having.
