Troubleshooting Bolt Not Going All the Way Through Frame of 24 Subaru Crosstrek Curt Hitch Install
Question:
I installed this rack on my 2024 crosstrek according to the instructions and it doesn’t look like the front bolt is going very far into the flange nut. Is this an issue other customers are running into? Would you suggest reinstalling without the spacer? Thanks,

We have to recommend using the flange since that's what Curt recommends. My guess is that the the carriage bolt isn't going all the way through the spacer block so you might try rotating the bolt to see if it can seat all the way through it. If the front bolts are tight you might try loosening them to see if that gives more slack for the rear bolts to thread through.
