We do have several trailer hitches for the 2013 Honda Accord. I have provided a link to them for you. In the list that comes up you will see something called Installation Notes for each hitch. On all of the options we note that a heat shield must be modified or trimmed for hitch installation and that an underbody trim panel must be modified or trimmed if present.
I have included a link to the instructions for Curt trailer hitch # C11496. You can see where the trimming is needed and that... view full answer...
The strap that connects the frame to the wheel is an included support strap with the Thule Passage, part # TH910XT to help keep the wheels straight like you said.
The additional blue strap shown in the test track portion video is a tie down strap that we don't cover in the videos usually, but it is a recommended part of the installation process. This is a failsafe for the bikes in case their straps come off. view full answer...
The under body panel in question will have to either be removed or trimmed to install a trailer hitch on your 2017 Honda Accord. The area trimmed is approximately 1 inch wide by 6 inches long. I have included a picture from the instructions for the Curt Trailer Hitch instructions for this vehicle, # C11496. view full answer...
The harness on the 2013 Honda Crosstour is not easy to get to and may be forward or backward on the harness it is supposed to be taped to. But if you have taken all those panels out, like in the video I have linked, and are absolutely certain that it is not there then you would need a different harness.
For a T-connector harness for your 2013 Crosstour use # C56215. view full answer...
If the Furrion Vision S system part # FCE48TASL-05 that you referenced has to compete with the brightness of a sunny day it's going to be more challenging to see the screen, so yes, a sunscreen would help as it would make the brightness of the display stand out more. Since we don't carry a sunscreen for it you could try to get creative and fabricate one or if you could move the display into an area with less sunlight that would work too. view full answer...
The wiring loom is the black plastic protective cover that is installed around a bundle of wires. The connector for the wiring harness will be taped down to the wiring loom at the factory to keep it from rattling and creating a annoyance that will cause customers to return the vehicle to have fixed. Once you have the connector located and remove the tape the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, item # 118336, will just plug into the factory supplied trailer connector,... view full answer...
I spoke to my contact at Sportrack and she informed me that the front bar length needs to be set at 28 inches and the rear at 26 inches.
To determine where the front bar will set you will need to measure 10 inches forward from where the front and rear doors meet forward. The rear bar will set 26 inches behind that bar measured on the center of the bars. view full answer...
I can only recommend what the manufacturer of the Tow Ready Wiring Harness # 118596 recommends for routing the power wire, which is that you will need to route the wire to the positive side of your vehicle battery.
The purpose of routing it to the battery is to protect the delicate wiring of your 2014 Honda Accord. In the event of a short on your trailer, even though it has minimal lights, this added protection will ensure that you would not damage the wiring of your vehicle. This could... view full answer...
You would only need one Curt Bike Rack Strap with Cambuckle, part # 18050, on your 1993 Honda Accord Wagon, the main purpose of the strap is to prevent vertical jarring on the hitch and frame of your vehicle that might cause premature damage.
The strap hook will attach at the top of the hatch of your Accord, if you check out the picture to the right you can see exactly what I mean. view full answer...
If you click the provided link, you can see a video showing the Curt Class I trailer hitch, part # C11085 being installed on a 2011 Honda Accord.
I've also linked the installation instructions, which includes a specific diagram showing precise dimensions of where the panel needs to be trimmed. view full answer...
No, there is no fuse that you will need to add for Curt wiring harness # C56011 to work on your 2013 Honda Accord. The trailer lights are powered by the vehicle tail light wiring.
This wiring harness was designed to work with sedan models that do NOT have LED tail lights. If your vehicle is a sedan and it does have LED tail lights you would use # C56173. view full answer...
If you have a 4 door model 1987 Honda Accord you would not need to drill into your vehicle to install the Curt Hitch # C11726. If you have a 2 door model you will need to use a 7/16 inch drill bit to drill 2 holes. Any drill bit that is designed for metal should work well.
I attached a picture of the installation instructions for this product also. view full answer...
I can give you a list of the tools needed to install the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24787.
Per the instructions, which are linked below, you will need an 11/16" and 3/4" socket wrench, as well as 9/16" drill bit. I have added a link below to a video install for you to check out as well of the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24787. view full answer...
The connections for the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, # 118420, on your 2013 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L are behind the tail light assemblies. The connectors on this harness will simply tee into the existing tail light connectors on your tail light assemblies.
We have not had the chance to install this wiring harness on a 2013 Accord yet, but on previous year Accords, to access the tail light connectors, you need to remove the spare tire cover, the rear threshold and peel back the carpeting... view full answer...
The hitches we have available for your 2012 Honda Accord EX-L Sedan will all involve trimming of the heat shield and underbody panel. The instructions for the Curt # C11085 do explain what will need to be done in detail and I included an install video that will also show what needs to be done. With that being said, the # C11085 will be my recommendation as this is an American made hitch and will handle your Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack, like the # SH12G, without any issue at all. view full answer...
My guess is the carriage bolt is not fully seated into the block washer in the frame rail. You will notice that the carriage bolt is square just under the head of the bolt. That square should line up with the square hole in the block washer to hold the bolt in place.
Once you have the bolt in place there should be enough thread to at least start threading the nut onto the bolt. Be sure you are using the rear most holes in the frame rails for installation. Once you have the bolt and washer... view full answer...
The ATF warmer will both bring transmission fluid up to temperature faster during startup and colder weather as well as reduce temperature when heat build-up occurs. This can sometimes contradict typical line testing results you'd be accustom to but a cooler such as the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13502 will still need to be installed on the return line. It is best to use factory diagrams to identify the return line as opposed to testing by feel as you would... view full answer...

As long as the exhaust is located in the stock position, you do not have to remove any exhaust components. To allow easier access to the mounting location, the rubber isolators that the muffler hangs from will need to be temporarily removed from the pins that they hang from. Once the hitch is in place the fasteners torqued to the correct rating, the muffler is re installed onto the hangers.
I will include a link to the installation instructions, which will make this a bit clearer. view full answer...
Yes, the Curt hitch, part # C11496, can be used on your 2010 Honda Accord with Dual Exhaust. You will have to temporarily undo a portion of the exhaust to install the hitch, but once the hitch is in the exhaust is put back into place. You will need to trim some of the exhaust heat shielding, but that can be done easily with a pair of metal shears or tin snips.
I had added a link to the instructions for you to review. view full answer...
