Expert Reply:
The connections for the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, # 118420, on your 2013 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L are behind the tail light assemblies. The connectors on this harness will simply tee into the existing tail light connectors on your tail light assemblies.
We have not had the chance to install this wiring harness on a 2013 Accord yet, but on previous year Accords, to access the tail light connectors, you need to remove the spare tire cover, the rear threshold and peel back the carpeting covering the back of the tail lights.
I have attached an installation video on a 2012 Honda Accord for you to check out. The installation process will be very similar to your 2013 Accord and it should give you an idea on what is involved with the installation.
Keep in mind, this wiring harness will only fit on models that have incandescent tail lights. If your Accord has LED tail lights, then you will need a hard wire kit like the Tow Ready Modulite Harness, # C59236. Honda changed the style of the tail light connectors on the models with LED tail lights, so there is not compatible plug-in style harness.
