Additional Straps Included with the Thule Passage 2 Bike Rack
Question:
Two questions: 1 I noted that there was some sort of strap extending from the bikes diagonal cross member, out to and around the front wheel, apparently to keep it from turning or twisting in the wind. Is this an additional strap that needs to be purchased, or a part of the rack mount as it comes shipped? 2 It appeared that part of one of the upper, blue straps is wrapped around the bike, at the point just below the handlebars and below the seat. Is this a recommended part of the installation procedure, when placing the bike on the rack, or something additionally done, but not covered in the video? I have a 2015 Honda Accord Sedan, for which, per the video, this rack seems the most appropriate. I just wanted to cover all bases.

The strap that connects the frame to the wheel is an included support strap with the Thule Passage, part # TH910XT to help keep the wheels straight like you said.
The additional blue strap shown in the test track portion video is a tie down strap that we don't cover in the videos usually, but it is a recommended part of the installation process. This is a failsafe for the bikes in case their straps come off.
