The yellow version and the blue version of the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit - Tandem Axle - Qty 2 # LC696740 are the same and won't have any differences aside from the color. The measurements and 3500-lbs to 8000-lbs capacity will remain the same. view full answer...
The # RP56009-53 kit does have longer 48 inch rails compared to the 43 inch rails with # RP50054-58 but this isn't what makes them easier to install.
Part # RP56009-53 is an outboard kit. This means the brackets install on the outside of the frame rails making the mounting locations easier to access. With that being said, on this generation of Ram the standard # RP50054-58 brackets are mostly on the outside of the frame too so the difference isn't as dramatic as with some other trucks.... view full answer...
Since you mentioned your 2021 Ram 2500 Big Horn Short bed having a payload capacity of 3383 I recommend going with the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs - 2 Piece - Rear Axle # SS27GR as they have a load leveling capacity of 5000lbs to support your rear suspension when towing your 12300lb 5th wheel trailer.
The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement # TDR2500D are also confirmed to fit your truck, but due to their 8600lb load leveling capacity will be quite a bit stiffer and will affect... view full answer...
There is no difference at all between the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3400 and the # BWRVK3400-5W. We use the -5W at the end of the part number to allow the hitch to show up in two different fitguides. One for the gooseneck fitguide and then one for the fifth wheel fitguide.
The Companion setups are considered by many to be the nicest fifth wheel hitch around. The Companion slider is going to be a much better option than using an adapter to use the stationary Pro Series hitch. view full answer...
I called PullRite to get some information on their 18K version of the SuperGlide and found that the Hijacker has much more to offer than the SuperGlide.
The things that the 18K Demco Hijacker # DM8550034 and the 18K SuperGlide have in common are that they both offer 14" of travel, they are both automatic sliding 5th wheel hitches, have 2-point pivoting hitch heads, are compatible with industry standard base rails, and they are both rated to tow up to an 18K trailer. Both 5th wheel hitches... view full answer...
There are going to be three of the SumoSprings helper springs available for your 2022 Ram 2500.
SumoSprings Rebel # SS27GR
SumoSprings Solo Yellow # SSR-312-54
SumoSprings Solo Black # SSR-312-47
The Rebel springs will have the highest weight capacity at 5,000lbs. These are going to be best for trucks that are constantly under load. So if you have a trailer that you are always connected to, large tool box or slide in camper these will be your best choice.
The Solo Yellow is rated for... view full answer...
The Firestone Ride-Rite, part F2580, you've seen only fits the 4-wheel drive model of your 2014 Ram 2500 so it technically fits your truck. With that being said it has been discontinued because the kit we now carry, part # F2598, fits both the 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive trucks.
So the # F2598 will also fit your truck. view full answer...
The difference between the # CARR109772 and the # CARR105772 is the mounting brackets that are vehicle specific. The # CARR105772 won't fit your truck.
For your 2019 Ram 2500, you'll want to go with the # CARR109772 which are compatible with all cab styles. The steps are sold in pairs.
I've linked to a product demonstration video for a similar step. view full answer...
We don't offer the Pullrite, but even if we did I'd recommend the Demco # DM8550034 Hijacker Autoslide. The Autoslide is a bit less expensive, especially when you consider it doesn't need a capture plate that isn't included with the Pullrite. The Hijacker Autoslide also features 3 height adjustments, while the Pullride isn't height adjustable. To install the Hijacker Autoslide in your Ram, you'd also need the # DM6099 rail adapter. The adapter will sit down into the pucks, and the hitch... view full answer...
The difference in Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2299 and Firestone Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2701 is in capacity, not in design as you pointed out. The # F2299 air springs have a 5,000 lbs capacity with a double convoluted 4 ply design. The air can be adjusted between 5 psi and 100 psi. The extreme duty air springs have a 7,500 lbs capacity and also have the 4 ply double convoluted design but the air adjustment can be from 5 psi to 150 psi. The extreme... view full answer...
The only difference between Retrax powered retractable Tonneau covers # RT90235 and RT50235 is the appearance and one has been discontinued.
Cover # RT90235 has a matte finish so it is not shiny whereas the RT50235 had a less popular glossy finish which is why it was discontinued.
Otherwise the covers are the same with the same features and operation:
Industrial strength aluminum construction
Tough matte finish to deter scratching
Opens and closes with remote keyfob
Front cover remains... view full answer...
Both the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3610 that you ordered and the part # RAS3613-GT that you ordered are confirmed fits for your 2012 Ram 2500. So you definitely didn't order a part that isn't compatible with your pickup.
The difference between them is the way they install. The 3610 that you ordered uses a clamp around the leaf spring and secures under the U-Bolt plate while the 3613-GT secures under the leaf spring and around the factory U-Bolts.

The difference between the Timbren # TDR2500D and the # TDRTT3500E is that the TDRTT3500E are designed for commercial service trucks which will have a more beefy suspension system already and a slightly different frame. The TDR2500D is designed for the passenger vehicles like your 2017 Ram 2500, so this would be the Timbren SES you're looking for. Whether or not you have the off-road package on your 2017 Ram 2500 won't have any effect on which Timbren system you're using, so there's nothing... view full answer...
The obvious difference is that the # C16521 uses a manually operated slider and the Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550034 uses an automatic sliding mechanism. The Curt offers 12 inches of rearward travel, while the Demco Hijacker Autoslide offers 14 inches. The Demco is height adjustable from 15-1/4 inches to 18 inches above the bed floor while the Curt can adjust from 17-1/2 to 21-1/2 inches in height.
The Demco Hijacker uses a single wrap around jaw that contacts the king pin all the... view full answer...
The Reese custom wedge # 30861 is flared out at one end so it should fit and lock out the pivot at the E16 hitch better than the rectangular Curt wedge # C16991. But since both fit the same hitch you could go with either one. As long as the wedge you use successfully locks out the pivot at the hitch then it will work. view full answer...
The SumoSprings like the Rebel Custom Helper Springs - 2 Piece - Rear Axle # SS27GR and the Timbren # TDR2500D are almost the same height. The Timbren is 6-3/4" tall and the SumoSprings are approximately 7" tall with the brackets. Since these install in the same space there won't be much difference between the two when it comes to the fit.
Based on that information, I would still choose the SumoSprings # SS27GR over the Timbren. The Timbren will be far more rigid with its design and 8,600... view full answer...
Selection of a weight distribution/sway control (WD/SC) system is based on matching the system's operating range to the fully-loaded trailer's actual measured tongue weight (TW). We offer a handy scale # e99044 to measure but other methods are outlined in the linked article. Any cargo in the tow vehicle that sits behind the rear axle, such as a loaded cooler or generator, also has to be added to the TW figure since this cargo will act just like trailer TW. Ideally your total TW load will... view full answer...

The Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # AM3200 does fit into the same industry-standard base rails as your Reese slider hitch. And though it does provide 9-inches of offset this is not the same amount of clearance you get from a slider hitch. Reese sliders like # RP30084 usually give you 10 to 12-inches of travel for making low-speed turns, and others like the 18K Demco Hijacker # DM8550034 and the 21K model # DM8550035 give you 14-inches of travel for excellent worry-free... view full answer...
You are correct, to install either the Hijacker or the Superglide, you will need to use a rail adapter, like # DM6099. This will add approximately 2 inches of height to your 5th wheel hitch. The 18K Demco Hijacker # DM8550034 offers a height adjustment of 15-1/4 to 18 inches (17-1/4 to 20 inches with adapter), whereas the Superglide is fixed at 18-1/2 inches (20-1/2 inches with adapter). With trucks getting taller and taller these days, you'll be glad you have the height adjustabilty to... view full answer...
