We do offer wiring adapters that allow a vehicle with one type of trailer connector to tow a trailer with a different connector. All such adapters like # A75TB, which converts a 7-way RV style connector to a 5-pole flat, are shown on the linked page. The 7-way trailer connector at the rear of your 2012 Ram ST has a 12V circuit on it that can be used to provide a maintenance charge on the battery in your trailer. However, it will not be enough charge to recharge a dead battery.
