The advantage for the larger 4 inch hole is just more hand clearance to allow for easier mounting when inserting the receiver. Sure can! You'll want to set the hub to 3 when installing the Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack # Y02633 on your 2021 Tesla Model 3. You'll also want to adjust the bike rack so that the base pad is 1" above the bumper for proper fitment.

I see exactly what you are referring to with regards to the plates that need to be removed on the Tesla Model 3 when installing the EcoHitch # EH84GR. There is no need to worry though about rust or corrosion in that area because the mounting brackets for the hitch will essentially be taking their place. While they were unable to give me an exact amount for the amount of power the wiring harness of the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit - Custom Fit - 2", part # 391TES317T, draws when not connected to a trailer, I was assured that it is minimal. The newer models has a hitch knockout panel under the rear bumper which is where the receiver tube will exit so no cutting or drilling will be required for this step. On your 2020 Tesla Model 3 you actually won't have to cut any fascia when installing the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH84GR. Up through the 2018 model year, a square opening did need to be cut on the Tesla Model 3 to allow clearance for the drop-down receiver on the EcoHitch, however starting with the 2019 model Tesla added an integrated panel that can be easily taken off (and snapped back on) that provides the needed opening for the receiver.

Yes. The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH84GR has safety chain loops on the downward tube that the receiver will insert into. Since it sounds like you'll be towing, you will also need a wiring harness, ball mount and hitch ball.
For wiring I recommend using the Tekonsha ZCI # 119250KIT which allows you to clamp on to the vehicle's wiring instead of splicing in, so it's a great solution for vehicles with complicated electrical systems.

The Thule Helium Pro 2 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting - Aluminum, part # TH9042PRO, is a hanging bike rack that secures the bikes at three points, the front and rear end of the top tube and the seat tube. The front wheel and handlebars of the bike are not secure. You could secure the wheel to the mast of the Thule Helium with a strap to keep the wheels from spinning. Do keep in mind this hitch bike rack has a weight limit of 37.5 lbs per bike.

In regards to the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver part # 391TES317 which is a fit for a 2020 Tesla Model 3, there will need to be an opening made in the underbody panel to allow for the receiver to protrude through. In some cases, there is already a knock out panel in this location but others there's not. I don't really have any advice for obtaining an underbody panel with this knockout so I must simply recommend that you make the cuts as outlined in the instructions.

This is a really good question but with any towing setup you are only as strong as your weakest component so even if you have a higher rated hitch you will always be limited by the capacity of the vehicle if it's lower. This is due to the hitch manufacturers designing a hitch that fits the vehicle and then engineering it to be as strong as possible and then independently rate the hitch from the vehicle. Using scotch locks or quick splices to connect two circuits is actually pretty easy. Basically you set the two wires in the channels of the quick splice and then close the flap of the connector and apply pressure so that the blade of the connector pierces just the insulation of the wiring and then creates a connection between the circuits since the blade is conductive.
