What we have found is that sometimes when installing the Prodigy P3 # 90195 on a 2005-Current Porsche Cayenne there are times when the display of the P3 may become erratic. We recommend installing a 12V normally open relay to fix this issue. You don't necessarily have to install the relay, but it will help to prevent the screen on your P3 from doing goofy things.

The Curt Hitch part # 13220 that you referenced has been confirmed to fit you 2010 Porsche Cayenne and does require fascia trimming. Basically the lower fascia will have to have an opening cut into it so that the hitch can stick through it like in the picture I attached.

To add a 7-way to your 2013 Porsche Cayenne that will allow you to pull a larger trailer and use a brake controller I recommend the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L. If you look through the instructions for Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75950 for your 2015 Porsche Cayenne, which I have linked for you below, it states that fascia trimming is required on the VW Touareg (which also uses this hitch) but not on the Cayenne or the Audi Q7.

I'm guessing that your 2008 Porsche Cayenne determines there is a trailer attached through the wiring which will be specific from Porsche. While the hitch # 13220 and ZCI Wiring Harness # 119250KIT is a really great combination for your application, the ZCI is designed to basically be invisible on your car. You can use your Tekonsha brake controller in your 2014 Porsche Cayenne, however, there are not custom wiring adapters available for the Cayenne, so you will want to splice in a universal harness, # 7894. Trailer connector # HM40975 that you purchased is meant as a replacement for a 2014 Porsche Cayenne that came with a factory 7-Way trailer connector. If yours did not then it will have to be hardwired in.
